I once had a fursona with the name "Ace". A popular fursuiter had the exact same name for their fursona. They wanted to get my amino account deleted for stealing their name. I almost was banned. But I messaged the team amino and they said that they won't ban me because of a name. I didn't even know the person I "stole" the name from. Sometimes Furries are so toxic about stealing stuff.

I know about that incident in BLFC leaving Emma the tiger as the victim. And I was so angry. Like I made a KZbin video about a year ago addressing that. And I’m heaps happy that Emma got a free fursuit from a maker. And I am happy that telephone organised a photoshoot to make her feel better about being a furry despite that BS she coped from the offenders. Also, I like the mouth mover masks as fursuit heads and I’m ok with them. Same as if people make dinosaur masks with moving jaws into their custom made fursuits. And I wouldn’t mind suiting in the alien substance that is snow. I either call snow an alien substance or agree with Stormi completely and say it’s not real.

I had my mouth mover head since 2017. I at least had an okay experience but when I first got my maskimal and make a video on it (earlier 2017), People started hating on me and telling me I should get a real suit. Its sad that people have the guts to tell me go buy a fursuit myself (at the age of 12-13). To Laila Fox (I hope you see this), Never be afriad to wear what you want. You want to wear a mouth mover mask? Go do it! You want to wear a maskimal? Wear it! Most people don't actually care about what you wear, You just came into contact with the wrong people.

I have chronic pain conditions, and my plan was essentially just to make a large rectangular badge saying to be gentle with hugs and such for myself - obviously your situation is different, but something similar with critical information may at least help? If it's very large and visible, maybe with large, eye-catching exclamation marks at the top, it'll hopefully grab someone's attention when it's most important. I have a little doodle of my character looking exhausted in the corner of mine, but I think keeping a badge like this fairly straightforward will probably help ensure that that information is conveyed quickly and people's eyes don't get distracted with any other visuals that are happening on the badge. A shirt with something similar might also be good, as already suggested. Also, having a nearby handler who knows your situation and can explain to others if needed may be your best defense against anything bad happening (tho I'm sure you already know all of that lol.) That would be something your handler can inform people of. A handler is someone trusted who walks around with you (usually out of suit) and helps control crowds and keep you from being overwhelmed, dehydrated, etc. Sounds to me like you should have a friend be your handler and help keep people informed of your condition when it happens.

You could just place a brief explanation of your medical needs on your badge (front and back) and always have a handler with you. people are definitely gonna freak out either way. If you’re prone to fainting, fursuiting can be really dangerous so please take extra caution and try to avoid being alone.

Lasciva Fun Time I’m not pocari but I’m a cosplayer that could answer that. I say like the week before have your fur suit on a hanger and ready to go give it a brush if necessary. Then if’s the suit it self has detachable tail and/ or padding for digigrade leggies pack them last after you pack up your toothbrush, tooth paste, shampoo, disinfect, deodorant ( very important and ladies your better off getting men’s deodorant for women’s deodorant is weak). But all in all the suit it’s self should be the last thing to pack.

#qna Hey, Pocari! I have a friend who’s an anti-furry. She doesn’t know for sure but I think she’s starting to figure out that I’m a furry. What should I do?

I've been in this situation. Try to ask her what being means to her, than explain what if actually means if she gets something wrong. Don't get agressive, even if she is being unreasonable. If it truly still makes her unconftrable, than try to avoid the subject. If it up in your face, again, don't get agressive, and if she cools down, just say "are you done yet?" and offer a glass of water as you explain what you do as a furry. If something as simple as being a furry dents your friendship, I won't say that's she's not worth it, but if she is your Best Friend or if you two are close, just talk things out as best as you can. *Remain Calm* and civil, and if she starts to become loud, remain polite. If you don't really know her as a friend, just yeet her out. And if stuff gets violent, tell a authority figure. Hope this helps!

I'm in a similar situation, but I'm not worrying about it. If they find out and want to stop being my friend then thats on them, I don't have time for people who want to disown me for a hobby/interest, especially since its not something that consumes my whole life. I would wait until they say something and be relaxed if/when they find out. If you freak on them theyll see you in a worse light. Most of the time people will just ignore the fact as long as you arent exploding furry stuff at them specifically

Wear underarmor! That stuff'll help wick away sweat and keep your suit clean. If you know sweating is an issue for you, since some sweat will inevitably get on your suit either way, it may be good to make sure that your suit is one that's easily washable (ie no painted markings, removable padding, etc)

depends on how big they are and whether or not you want to be able to see out of the secondary eyes, but it's definitely possible. the head would just have to be patterned and structured with them in mind.

Names can't be copyrighted. You can have the name glitch if you want to, and if people give you crap for it ignore them. If your character is as unique as you can possibly get it, then you're all good. It's just like how there might be multiple John's or Emma's in the world.

gah I remember when me being a furry started. I didn’t know about the fandom but since I was 3 I always for some reason would just think about if I was an anthropomorphic version of my favorite animals and I have been always just thinking about that in my free time, (and sometimes my not free time O_O) ever since. Then in 3rd grade on halloween I wore this artic fox mouth mover mask, like one of those weird costume ones to school and to Great Wolf Lodge. I didn’t know it, but I was suuuch a furry. Very happy that now I know a way to bring all those characters to life and discuss them.

With the partial and showering question.... Definitely shower!! I usually don't use my partial much anymore, just my half suit, but his legs aren't really anything that make me sweat, so it's basically like a partial for warmth. And I went out with him during Halloween for two hours, in 20-30°F weather.... And sweat like crazy. I could tell because he has a resin head. My hair was also a frizzy mess, so that means sweat got there. And I'm going to guess having your fingers warmed up is enough to warm up a lot, but especially if you have sleeves, you're gonna have some pit sweat. So definitely shower! (I'm still not a person who suits a lot, but maybe this info will be helpful

I had to change my username on many social media apps because it was similar to a popular fursuiters name, before it was Nalu le Dogfish, which sounded very similar to Nalu the Catfish. I had no idea who Nalu the Catfish was at the time and i kept getting blamed for copying them. Our fursonas looked similar too.

I have a mouth movers mask, and I reallyyyyyyyyyy badly want a real fur suit or like a partial, but I’m too broke :,( But most of my followers on tik tok are supportive so it helps me realize that you can be a furry and be loved like a furry even if your fur suit is a mouth mover. I so badly wish I had a real fursuit though it’s one of my wishes! Some day I hope :)

Swimming in a fursuit in my opinion is dangerous as heck even if I'm a Dutchie who swims, I will never swim when I get a fursuit cause I be to scared and feel like it would ruin it. But I would for maybe one time for a awesome picture. And for moving mouth heads that aren't fursuits, I actually like them I am the owner of one of the heads which is the rooster head from our local Halloween shop called ’Spirit halloween’ cause let's face it...i know I won't get a suit unless I become a good money maker or suit maker.
