The thing that still pisses me off about this particular manifestation of guilt, is that Jimmy STILL refuses to accept everything was HIS fault, he CHOSE to assault Anya, he CHOSE to crash the ship, he CHOSE to act as captain and then complained about having to BE the captain. And in the end he doesn't go "no Curly, I'm the villain, no one else" He instead resorts to his delusions of being a hero, believing he truly just made a small "oopsie!" mistake, in the end Jimmy was still the same weak piece of shit he was since the beginning.

Well, I wouldn't say that he meant an "oopsie!" mistake. People don't cry about it so hard. And I'd say he didn't choose to crash the ship with his full consciousness because he immediately regretted it. It was an impulsive thing to do. He didn't know where to let the stress out. And that's ok. What's not ok is when other people have to suffer for it. Like Anya. I bet he did what he did to her out of the same spite. And, of course, he chose to be the captain, but he just didn't understand how troublesome and hard it would be. And I don't even speak about responsibility. All because he was too immature to be one. I guess the whole idea of the game is to understand how to take responsibility. Jim, eventually, came to the idea. Or a way to the idea. Too little too late though... Due to the harm he already brought and the state of his mind he didn't do much good in the very end because we don't even know what will happen to Curly. So yeah... that's really fucked up and sad.

Y’know, I can’t believe I’m saying this, but you actually make Jimmy sound more human. And it just makes me hate him that much more. See, it's easy to write Jimmy off as a selfish, vile sociopath (which he is), but the scary part about people like him is how they can twist the narrative. From Jimmy’s perspective, he’s the tragic, misunderstood hero who made a mistake and is being blamed for it. At this point of the story Jimmy thinks he’s in, this would be where he suffers an emotional breakdown, a crisis of conscience, etc., and the person he failed forgives, or more accurately, *absolves* him. Basically, having Jimmy break down like this reminds us that he had a chance to own up, be a *good* man as opposed to a “better” one, and take actual responsibility.

This was the plan. Hence why I decided to make Jimmy's voice as close to my ordinary speaking voice as possible. I do pitch him just a touch higher and a little softer than I tend to speak, but that's more to highlight how pathetic he is.

Not sure if this is the best suggestion for another Mouthwashing dub but I think the dead pixel scene would be a nice one, helps you develop more voices for the game and also is just a good talk between them in general.

oh my god this is amazing !!!! damn, the performance on jimmy was so good. first time i played the game i dubbed it with some friends, and i voiced jimmy, but i would have NEVER been able to pull something off like that. if i can recommend something, i really would like to see the ending cutscene of the game. from your swansea speech video, i see you can do a pretty good "jimmy-thats-completely-lost-it", which is what i kinda imagine his tone would be in that last cutscene, maybe a bit more somber as well. just a suggestion though !
