Zywoo-flamez, maj3r-calyx, siuhy. I had it with playing safe. That's what took me out of the top 10 in the season leaderboard. I don't really know why, but I think Faze will win over Spirit. I feel like karrigan and ropz have been studying LIKE CRAZY to know how to stop donk.

i like this. if vitality beat spirit (or faze i guess) then imo they win the major. i feel a lot of people are shying away from them for various reasons but mostly because spirit are on that side, which is probably a mistake really. if i wasn't risking it with navi i'd be risking it with vitality for sure!

I had the same team until I watched Maj3r as a guest in the Talking Counter podcast and now I'm rooting for them and swapped navi for Maj3r and Xantares (and swapped between chopper and magixx)

it is just for the major, i think the idea is to make the events feel more important. not sure i am 100% sold on it tbh because i feel it has too much of an impact when people playing for season points are playing every game anyway

@@PRE5L Well, taking zont1x with 1.22 vs top 5 is better than magixx with 1.03 vs top 5 and chopper with 0.95 vs top5. sh1ro is no need to describe. Ofc anyone can pop off, but better players have higher chances.

i am going for top 1 finish betting on EF getting into the finals against spirit. Only thing i am debating on is whether should i go with hooxi+shiro or siuhy+zontix

EF is a cool gamble, tho i think they have might be the longest shot (maybe faze has it harder). but i like them more than mouz/g2 that's for sure. personally think sh1ro is the must pick, even if siuhy definitely frags harder than hooxi

Congrats on the no1, Lucy! We finished with the exact same points, 318, and guess what, I went double Faze. I didn't pick karrigan though - he's my favorite IGL, but he's just a terrible fantasy pick, hahaha. For this one, however painful it is to admit, I just don't see Faze beating Spirit AND Vitality in this form. I believe in the GOAT though, he's going to send Spirit home. I'm going with a Zywoo draft: Zywoo - Attacker (100% trigger rate WTF) mezii - HS Machine jL - Multi Fragger Aleksib - Support Hooxi - Eco Friendly ALL OR NOTHING!

hahaha nice, glad you found success. i said all that about faze and g2 were just as terrible anyway... this is actually a really decent zywoo draft, i'm in awe! basically a variant on my draft but with vitality instead of spirit. very cool, i can see this hitting hard now that the woo is feeling better!

Congrats on the #1! Your teams are so consistently good, the research really shows :) Amazingly, the donk + 4 IGLs strat worked out, very solid top 15%. Meme picks > smart picks, so I'm banking on a ZywOo resurgence for playoffs now 🙏

I respect the boldness of the anti-MOUZ pick. I don't agree with it, but I respect it. Gives you a great route to a 1% if you're right. I grabbed a 9%er at the elimination stage thanks to going in on Brollan and Spinx, which has pulled me just two points behind you on the season now. I'm going with a very bland 2xMOUZ 2xSpirit lineup for this one. Not exciting, and probably what most are doing, but I think it gives me a high floor. Major fantasy has already gone well for me, no need for a big risk on this one.

Currently sat at #293 in the main leaderboard, since it's such a high risk event to draft in imma go with the pack and get the 2x mouz and 2x spirit (and maj3r) all your points are valid as to why you're shying away from EF and MOUZ, but i feel as though in the next couple events I'll have more teams to pick from and to get me those top 1 - 5%'s to rack up the season points and propell me forward, (also seeing too many people pick brollan insteead of torszi, torszi has by far the best arena ratings of the entire team)

decent zywoo draft, kinda hard to get a decent one brewing with his price (much like donk) but this is about as good as it gets, will be a fire draft if there's a world where vitality and mouz is the gf. gl!
