you didnt move "one stick". you moved three sticks. I can easily solve it by truly moving a single stick.

take the vertical stick on the + and move it to cross over the =. You get 8 - 7 not equal 3. done!

for 4 you could have done 8 - 3 = 5

@@BlazingShackles I rechecked and I can only see it needing one stick moved. I.e. moving the centre horizontal stick of the 6 so it is vertical and close the top right gap in the former 6. That should convert the six to a zero. If you still think it takes moving three sticks, you need to explain your reasoning.
