The Darkest Age - Unreal Engine Animations

I was inspired by several asset packs found on the Unreal Engine marketplace, namely the Nanite Mangrove Forest from Meka Art and Modular Orcs from Polyphoria. The motion capture, or mocap, was done using Move.AI and the facial animation is all Metahuman Animator. Animation needed a bit of smoothing, but looks good enough. Bro we need tutorial, 1- where did u get the character and how did you make it that realistic? 2- how did motion capture those characters 3 your export, camera and remder settings

Orc characters are from the UE marketplace, made by Polyphoria. Mocap is Move.AI.

I bought all the assets, including the orcs. They already had some basic blendshapes and rigging in the face, but I hired someone on Upwork to do the Metapipe conversion

Took maybe 16 hours total over the course of a weekend. Metahuman Animator is animating the face

It was spread out over three days, but if you don't include the processing time of the animations (which was about 4 hours) the whole thing took about 1 hour for writing, 1 hour for camera setup, 30 mins for capturing, and probably 15 hours of Unreal and editing

@@NorthwoodsInteractive Yes, I noticed that. For better light, I see you've removed a few bushes. It's just that I don't get such a cinematic picture in cinematics as you do. I think here you need to look at the camera settings, anti-aliasing, cinematic filter. And please tell me, have you processed the video already in DaVinchi Resolve, after rendering?

More context if you’re referring to the hyper realism aspect of the engine I’ll remind you Fortnite is a UE5 game, what’s irritating is that because anyone can learn it, it’s an easy tool and the visuals are excellent so it becomes easy to scam people as we’ve seen time and time again, but the engine itself does not determine what a game will look like as seen with Fortnite, it’s not a realistic game, nor does it determine gameplay, that’s up to the devs.
