Im going to be a senior and my biggest thing is that you definitely do not need to be scared. I was sooo scared my freshman day because i was shy and didn't know anyone but you'll make friends so quick. Also, being involved is so important in high school, have some spirit! I waited until this year to do sports and im so sad i didnt start earlier!

It's so cool that you go to CSU because there's not that many youtubers that go to school here in Colorado/the west (minus like, California/LA)! I debated applying to CSU but I'm in the same boat as you in terms of my high school class is tiny compared to most (about 150, and that's big for a senior class here) and I like the smallness so I chose smaller schools! I hope you're still having a great time at CSU!

It will be safe if you take the precautions to be safe! They have rules in place and guidance for you that they go over at orientation that will help you! It's probably really scary being in a completely different place like you will be as an international student and my school and probably other ones even have dorms and halls specific to international students if you prefer so you can find others in the same situation, but even if you don't do that I'm confident you'll find people you really like in your hall! And yes i definitely can do a college advice video!

I'm going to college this fall and would really appreciate someone answering my question. I know the job of the RA but what do they ACTUALLY do. Do they check your room? Making you sleep with your door open sounds a little weird....What rules do they actually enforce and what do they do if you break a rule?

My school they don't make you keep your door open. Basically what they do is check that everything is ok hourly by taking a quick walk through. While doing that they will only get someone in trouble if they are being excessively loud or if they have reason to believe someone is doing drugs or drinking alcohol. At that point they report you to the people in charge of the dorm or write you up if it's minor. They also try to get the people in the hall to be more involved with each other sometimes or they call meetings if they need to. I didn't have to deal with my RA too much.

It worked out well though the second time around because I took that week off so I wasn't stressed! I would try t and see what you think and adjust your hours as you go

We were actually. And although I met a good amount of people who knew there roommates prior to college that had a good time with I met many more who didn't know their roommate prior to move in day that ended up being best friends! I wouldn't be discouraged to be with someone you didn't already know because many cases they become really close friends and sometimes living with some you were best friends prior doesn't work out and ruins the friendship.
