Hey hey Rob, I love the way your videos help to educate and empower people when it comes to skincare. My friend decided to spoil herself and went to the Clinique counter and boy did they see her coming. I’m not saying they didn’t give her correct advice and products , more like they sold her everything they possibly could 🤦♀

Thanks so much for these suggestions! As an American living in the UK, I have really been bothered by how expensive Cerave is here! Great to have some more affordable alternatives I can trust, given your stamp of approval! 😊 Only problem I think I'm seeing is that I use Cerave 50 SPF for the sunscreen protection as much as anything else, but maybe not seeing this in the alternatives?

Hello Hun thanks for watching and I know what you mean - CeraVe is so much more expensive here than in the US and that's the same for much of Europe.. sending love xx

Cerave was a fail for me because it made my skin very irritated. I used la Roche posay for a few years after that. However, it's is quite expensive for me so I now use the Neutrogena body moisturizing lotion. It has a slightly tacky, serum-like texture. I really enjoy it so far. I would still like to find a thicker cheap moisturiser for days when my skin feels extra dry.

I recommend Dr.Jart+ Ceramidin Skin Barrier Serum Toner. It also contains Panthenol. Love it for my sensitive, dry skin, and use it instead of a daily moisturiser before I apply sunscreen. However, I’m tempted to try the others you recommend in this video, Rob, because of their cheaper price points.

The Cosrx Moisture Power Enriched Cream is a staple favourite of mine, it has ceramides in😊Good basic moisturiser, not as cheap as some of the ones mentioned but I always go back to it!

i wish g&g would release a much bigger size of their moisturizer, like 150 or 200 ml, with a fliptop cap.
@MadAboutSkin19 сағат бұрын
OMG yes please lol I would love a 150ml as it would last me all year.. love x

MAS moisturiser is the absolute best moisturiser I have ever used on my dry skin no lie previous I used Sculpted by Aimee Cloud Cream because nothing else worked for me it was either too light or too thick and I.was left with nothing but a sticky film that ne er really fully absorbed for the longest time... Maximum Impact is just soooo Velvety and nourishing when u apply it esp at night I just find myself sighing along with the application ( I know I'm a bit weird lol ) but it's honestly such a comforting feeling and it lasts !!! Hope it's always around I can't go back to crappy pilling sticky moisturisers again 😢

I can recommend the ceramide shot by ample:n and of course the MAS cream! Ample:n has ceramides as well as fatty acids and cholesterol. It's a really good serum in winter 😊 Rob I hope you had a fabulous Christmas with lots of good food and love ❤

Not cheap, but Theramid's Ceramides serum is THE Bomb. I find I don't always need moisturiser with it, though.

I've been using Nuage ceramide moisturiser wuth hyaluronic acid and vitamin e. Its not greasy, lightweight, vegan, pump dispenser. And the best bit is it costs under £3 for 250ml from Savers!

Hello everyone. The MAS Moisturizer keeps my skin barrier healthy 90% of the time. Adding a small amount of Stratia Lipid Gold to the MAS Moisturizer seems to be enough to repair my skin for the remaining 10% of the time. ❤

Took your advice earlier this year for Face Facts, great value, great moisturizer/cleanser and def cruelty free is key. Ceramides are super important so an affordable option was a must. I also since ordered the MAS one at half price so I’m interchanging them, love them both, thx Rob! Happy holidays! 🫠😬💫

Watching with interest, my skin is paying the price for having the central heating on all time at home and overindulging in lots of unhealthy Christmas food 😭 My cheeks are so pink and sore ☹️

Cerave lotion and cream are perfect in price,texture and formula i wished it worked for me 😭 i think haluronic acid doesnt work that great for me too bad
@janetpicard697518 сағат бұрын
The final formulations of "cruelty free" products claim to not be tested on animals, but the same cannot be said for the ingredients that are used in those formulations... misleading in that way. Cerave hydrating oil to foam cleanser is fabulous and dupes will likely never replicate. Cleans the skin fully yet does not strip. The huge pump tub of Cerave moisturizer cream will always be in my routine. It is so hydrating, neutral and perfect for night time use. Love that stuff. The Cerave sunscreens, however are all way too greasy and even the lightest tint gives me a yellow, jaundiced look. Yuck. Thanks for the discussion!

@bloodflower414111 сағат бұрын
Prices have been on the rise
@MadAboutSkin10 сағат бұрын
Because prices have increased 3 times in the last 2 years, they have reformulated many of their products this year to increase the niacinamide which is causing a lot of problems for customers - there are many reasons people will be looking for a dupe.. though if it works for you keep on using it xx

Oh no, I live in Canada….I thought that CeraVe DID NOT USE ANIMALS….. I am going to call the company because that really upsets me. I was a vegan for the animals before there was vegan food ever made for humans. I used to eat a lot of lentils and make a lentil loaf that was delicious and made my burgers from lentils. No animals should have to suffer for our selfish needs. Thank you for telling me. I’ve never heard of these other companies before? Not available in Canada!!!!! I used to really love the Ordinary. They didn’t use animals and their price point was spot on. However after the founder and CEO of this company jumped off the balcony 🥹😳🫣🫢🤔 and into heaven, it’s been bought out by Estée Lauder and the prices have gone through the roof. I hardly buy them at all anymore much too expensive.. Thank you! Susan
