I got a bit bored on my day off, so I decided to go and beautify some nature strips nearby! There was some mouth watering clover patches that I couldn't resist!

Unlike some of the overgrown yards you do where it's just brown underneath, because the clover is somewhat green, this is really an amazing transformation - those homeowners should be grateful to you. (And perhaps a wee bit ashamed they haven't been maintaining it - since it seems like the rest of their yards weren't as bad, so it seems like they had the means to do so...)

I just got back home from my morning walk and all I could do was look at nature strips and them growing over the footpath and just wanting to attack them 🤣🤣🤣 and then a video with that very thing !! I still don’t understand people who don’t mow their nature strips … I mean you take the care and pride to mow your lawns and maintain the garden yet want go the extra to do the nature strip which is all part of of how your house looks 🤷🏼‍♀️

You keep the maintenance up on your wonderful fleet of mowers so well. Their blades are sharp and they power through any job you put in front of them. Your new boots look sharp and sturdy. If they are comfortable on your feet and last they could actually be winners. I respect your choice to not "go commercial" with your channel. It's up to you 100% how you decide to run it. Where I live we call it, “ the boulevard .” 🇨🇦It’s not owned by the home owner either, but I wouldn’t just leave it to get all overgrown like that , just to my make my property look a mess! People just can’t help get their undies in a bunch over who’s responsibility it is to take care of it, instead of just getting it done! Nice work Sean! Looks great!!👍

In the Akron, Ohio area it’s called the Devil Strip, since the homeowner “owns” it (and technically pay taxes on it) but we can’t do what we want with it but still have to keep it mowed. I’ve heard it’s possibly a borrowed term from back in the days when we had Street Car tracks? I’ve heard other areas in the US call it the tree lawn. I remember calling it the devil strip as a kid when we lived in another state and the other kids had no idea what I meant.

I was told long ago it's an unwritten rule that you mow the grass between you gate and the street.

In California we call it the Median strip. It’s owned by the city but it the homeowners responsibility to keep it up. Personal peeve is the posts used to support the trees when they’re young, they get left on way tooooo long! When the tree they’re supporting is bigger in diameter than the post then the tree is holding up the post, not the other way around. Yank those braces off!! Free the trees!! 😆

I have a fair amount of clover in my lawn. It seems to hold the moisture well and stays green when the rest is showing stress. Besides, the bees like it and I get compliments on my lawn. 😂

Buffalo clover (the shorter, fluffy stuff with the little white blossoms) is almost as good at fixing nitrates into the soil as beans and peas, and are pretty drought-tolerant; it takes a pretty hard drought to kill off a clover patch~

I must say that your cleanup and housekeeping skills are above and beyond any yard service I have seen! You can see that whomever is responsible for mowing these areas doesn't trim well and leaves a mess of buildup on the road....grass clippings and such! The boots are good looking and appeared comfortable and you proved steel toe protection😁...the company should be glad you elected to try out! Never heard it called a nature strip before but it is an appropriate title. I’ve noticed at times when you use the whipper snipper vs the edger the lines are cleaner and more pronounced 😊. Looks great as always. Nice facelift. And with this video I’m officially caught up 😁. As my late father would say, I started in the middle and went both ways 😂 Awesome journey so far.

Brilliant job, your a true Gent, we have those type of verges ( we call them that here in the UK) in our street too, but we as residents mow our own verge in front of our homes. We always have done even though the Council would do it eventually, it don't take long plus its good to take pride in our street. Mowed our nature strip for 50 years, seeded and fertilised it. Even planted trees. One day council came along and removed the beautiful mature cherry tree and said only they could plant there! Never seen them plant or water anything in 5 decades 😂😂

In brisbane you have to ring council and say “put me on the list for you to mow my nature strip” and they’ll just keep doing it until you tell them not to anymore. But you’ve got to ring them and arrange it. They then come out and do a site inspection and measure the area before you get put on the regular cutting cycle.

I watch ALL your videos! It's similar in that it's enjoyable, VERY well done (both the mowing, edging AND camera work). I know it takes a lot of work making these videos and believe me, viewers appreciate them. As for trolls, they love emotional reactions, so block them and ignore them. They have very little in the way of intelligence or personality and are just boring cowards yawn. They don't like being ignored or not paid attention to. So as someone wise in a book once said, just ignore them and pay them no never mind. They aren't worth one atom of bother. Just disregard them and be happy, that irks the hell out of them lol. In my state the area between the road and sidewalk belongs to the city, but the resident or business is to maintain them.
