Why did you mention "100% scholarship" in the video introduction and opening picture. Who is giving scholarship? Riveria isn't. Riveria does not award scholarships or other funding for students. There are no intuition fees, but that has nothing to do with any scholarship like arrangements. There are some possible study related costs. Some costs arise from purchasing study materials, work clothes and equipment. A personal laptop for studying is recommended for all Riveria students. Students must acquire the laptop themselves. And of course there are things like the cost of living while studying and relocation related cost like traveling costs and immigration permit processing fees.

@@just42tube once any school doesn't request for tuition or application fees that is scholarship for you. That was why she mentioned scholarship. While schooling you can work too to be to sustain yourself and that's okay

@yemimiakinleye136 That is just false misleading use of words. You don't seem to know how the funding of vocational education works in Finland. Please takes some time to study it so you don't make false assumptions and use misleading terminology.

@@yemimiakinleye136 I suggest you first look up dictionary definitions for the word. Then you could look up information about how the funding of vocational study programs is defined in the Finnish legislation, if you don't believe what Riveria has stated on their website.

@yemimiakinleye136 In Finland the educational system at basic and vocational levels is not finalized with tuition fees, with some exceptions. In higher education there are tuition fees in study programs using foreign language as the language of tuition for those students who come from outside EU/EEA countries. The majority of study programs are using local languages as free of tuition fees. North Karelia Municipal Education and Training Consortium Finland, Riveria, funding is not based on tuition fees. It sells some training to organisations. The municipal association finances its operations and investments with funding in accordance with financial legislation, state contributions, EU and other project funding, training income and income available from the sale of services and products that take place as part of education, as well as other income. The municipal association can accept donations. Riveria's operation is dependent on State share financing, as it covers almost 90% of Riveria's operating income. So basically the majority of funds come from the national budget of Finland.

Applying doesn't require traveling to Finland. If you can or can't depends on you. Are your kids underage, minors? Do you have sufficient funds or income for supporting your own and your kids living in Finland? Are you their sole parent/guardian. If not, you need the other parents approval.
