I found out yesterday my wife and I are going to become parents, something I've dreamed about and worked toward every day of my life. Just when our business has been struggling and I have been giving up hope, he's got a greater plan for us and I see now how he works. He's greater than any of us could ever imagine! When you put things to him and give him the glory nothing is impossible!

I love this song. And they do such a great job of worshipping the Lord here. It's such a true heart of worship to the Lord. I change the word "waste" to "spend" as I'm not "wasting" my hours and my days on the Lord--I'm "spending" my hours and days unto him in praise to him .

I think it is a reference of John 12:4-11 where Judas commented on Mary's sacrifice as a "waste". The song is probably saying that "I'd rather "waste" my days for the Lord than spend it elsewhere"
