Hello great Gnomonkey, could you do a similar guide for combat mechanics, and how they interact with movement, eating, potions, pvp, etc? Your guides and content are literally the best KZbin. How do you research for these videos? Or is this just everything that you have learned through playing?
@GnomonkeyRS4 жыл бұрын
I have plans to do something like this in the future, for this video it's mostly just playing the game a lot. My sources for most videos are the gear discord (written mostly by oblivion clan members) and the wiki although it isn't always accurate and often things need testing
@edcaffyn-parsons49274 жыл бұрын
@@GnomonkeyRS Awesome, thanks for replying. I have really struggled to find any good information on how combat works in OSRS, all the old-hands just simply *know* how it works but rarely explain what is going on!
@KVirello2 жыл бұрын
True tile isn't ALWAYS accurate. If you have bad ping it can show you ahead of where you actually are. This can mean, for example, getting hit by an arrow in Sepulcher even if the true tile says you weren't on that square when it passed over.

Not sure if it's a big enough topic for a full video, but can you go over yellow click vs red click actions? I know they're different in some ways, which is why you drop vials at Zuk, but I can't find any information about exactly what the differences are.

For an idea of how hard movement can be to master: Ring of Endurance - Main drop from Sepulchre: *30m* Lightbearrer - drop from Tombs of Amascut: *2.5m* It's been wild how much I've had to learn with regards to all this. Turning on tick visualizer metronome and true tiles, it's no wonder the Sepulchre looked impossible. I wasn't where I was standing!
