Definitely react to more Les Twins your comments are interesting and I’d like to see your reactions to their other stuff as for laurent he definitely can do his signature “death drop” in a slower and more controlled manner in fact he’s been doing it differently since 2019

Nah dude Laurent's been doing the death drop since 2009 he also invented the the 360 death drop which I don't know any dancer in history who's able to pull that off.

The twins are special because of their musicality. If you watch most dancers they'll stick to the percussive beat, or do whatever they want as long as it's in rhythm. The twins are constantly changing. Sometimes they'll take the beat, sometimes they'll take a vocal rhythm, sometimes they'll take a guitar riff. They're special because they show in their movements that they hear every part of a song.

As someone with a background in dance and a lifetime in visual art, I have a problem when comments include words like "weird". Saying something is weird about a an artwork usually means that you don’t know enough to put it in context. Les Twins fans know their story and their influences, but the first time I saw them them dance I thought their movements were very descriptive of the music and saw classical postures in juxtaposition with movement that reflected contemporary technology. As I watched more and more of Larry and Laurent, I saw how easily they could broaden cultural, social and emotional references in ways that dancers never have done. It’s clear from their story that Les Twins have been building a vast physical vocabulary from early childhood. Laurent in particular is constantly reaching for emotional and playful nuances to illustrate music as well as the human connection to and through music. Les Twins are groundbreakers. I believe that Nijinsky was important because he was insistent on his connection with the viewer. Les Twins even more commanding of audience response. They are riveting.

You write very well!

Relax, it was weird in a good way. For the natural performer or non dancer, some of the movements would be classified as weird, and that's what makes Les Twins even better and unique.
@78SR Жыл бұрын
Art historians and serious critics use more specific words than "weird", which has a subjective and somewhat ambiguous meaning, for describing various criteria for art forms.

Great reaction ! I love how you explained things here, it's perfectly explained cause it's exactly what the twins try to teach people in their workshops. They don't often do difficult moves, most of the times it's weird moves 😂But because they are expressing their musicality and their feelings and emotions so precisely, because they believe in what they're saying with their bodies, their moves become powerful and hit us. Anyways you said a lot of interesting things and a lot facts about them that you probably don't know are facts but this only shows how much you pay attention to the craft 😊Please react to more of them, there is so many things to explain and say about those twins. To answer some of your "interrogations" they do have a lot (and I mean A LOT) of flow that they chose to express when the feeling is coherent I guess. And also, behind the scene is actually exactly like on stage, they hurt themselves constantly because they don't care about their own bodies' limits (their words, not mine). They literally refuse to let their bodies forbid them from doing a certain move or whatever, they're all about EXPRESSING what's inside. Fascinating really... Imma stop right here before I write a book in that comment section. 😂

Lmao, that's an extreme statement, but many dancers have the same mentality, and with a little bit of strength & bulletproofing work I think so much damage can be avoided :)

Really nice reaction bro! Everything you pointed out about them is 100% on point. Fact that not all their movements make sense in a way but because they believe it so much, they make you believe it is completely that. Their musicality is unmatched, that's like you will never touch them on that.

Hey, in my opinion they didn’t edit the song too much, they are on a show and I would think there are time constraints, in addition they choreograph to any slice of the song they wish! They don’t dance like girls. The combine a myriad of dance styles ( ballet, modern, etc) in their performances. Sometimes they tell stories when they dance. They also do interpretations of the music. Very good in my opinion and I am not trained. They are trendsetters. They go all over the world and teach their unique blend of dance. What is dance anyway?😂
