I mean... physics are already messed around with in the movie, so there's not much of a way to tell if it's just BeamNG's physics not being exactly on par with reality, or actually being closer to reality than the movie. I think it's kinda both depending on the scene. The one with Tobey driving in oncoming traffic for example, feels more real in BeamNG than in the movie, probably because in the game you can actually afford going 300km/h with in the opposite lane. Same with the crash at the end, no way Dino's car wouldn't have been at least unsettled if not severly damaged from pushing another car at such a speed and then pushing onto it at full speed while it's 90° sideways so technically decelerating quite heavily So BeamNG takes the win on realism here too. However cornering shots, the movie takes the cake. Most likely because drifting, cornering like this isn't easy when you're not a pro driver, coupled with the fact Beam's physics are slightly off in terms of weight and grip, and the cars are mods on top of it so not usually with the best handling models. So yeah, not everything amiss is on Beam's physics. But that's still a very solid job done here! Also props for making BeamNG content that isn't all about stupid crashing for no reason like most videos on this game on YT.
