It's a good drama but the ML will really p**s you off with how he treats his wife. She's just a pawn that had to wake up from her dream into a nightmare. She has enough sense to run away but TBH, i wanted her with either the Crown Prince or the 9th Prince. My fave was the 9th Prince. She would have been happier with him and he wouldn't have a harem. Both men really respected and loved her. The ML was a schmuck.

@@goldHydrangeas welcome to reality. We all make bad choices, even with all the info to inform ourselves. Being an adult sucks, being an adult female with limited choices is even worse. I really liked the FL but I felt that she allowed herself to be treated like a pawn. That's why I liked the 9th Prince and the Crown Prince. They allowed her to be herself and make her own choices. They loved her for just being her so she didn't have to work so hard to gain their favor. The schmuck just ticked me off. She literally almost died several times for him to realize she was a good woman. I don't like having to work that hard either for someone to see me and my worth.

I have watched this from ep one to the last ep .This is only a clip from the long drama . The empress and the emperor have happy ending but the cunning second wife she was burned from the fire she caused . There is no season 2 .

For me is a stupidity to love romantically without reciprocation, that give us an endless suffering. I wouldn't have bear so many sufferings like this FL, I'm lazy emotionally. If my partner isn't in the same page as me I just let go. In her position, I would have plot to leave the palace, by fire, using a pill that fake death or other way. She is pitiful.

Elle a raison, autant de souffrance pour l’amour d’un homme a concubines …..personnellement j’évite de regarder ces dramas maintenant, toujours pareil, peu être historique, mais les scénaristes ne devraient pas articuler la trame comme ça. La plupart de la noblesse traitait les femmes comme des poules…alors pourquoi toujours donner cette image tendre de l’empereur alors que viscéralement c’est un coureur et un salaud…et peu aimant de la gente féminine…. Sous couvert d’un harem bref une maison close privative. Dans tous les dramas de ce type on dépeint les empereurs les princes très édulcorés, pourquoi ne pas parler de la souffrance de ces femmes❤❤❤

Spoiler alert - Actually she did just that. She didn’t die. She faked her death so she can leave the emperor. (She can’t die in the middle of the drama, she’s the main FL). The emperor gave up his throne at the end to be with her. It’s supposed to be a happily ever after drama but to me, the damage is already done. There’s no room for redemption.

Les scénaristes devraient tenir compte du contexte de l’époque et ne pas faire ressembler ces personnes à des peluches, leurs portraits devraient être plus acide…..enfin c,est une série 😊😊😊😊❤

One saw another codtume drama with that empress in it.She had the most annoying voice ever,even her acting skills were bad.So to see her a bit tamein this it suits her better.Like all dramas one thinks 2nd fiddles are so much better in acting but they never get the main prize.But having heirs and spares is essential to the blood line.But in those days disease must have been ripe from one female to the next.

Je pense que les scénaristes édulcorent beaucoup ces empereurs ou familles royales, ils les dépeignent comme des nounours, mais la réalité devait être toute autre. D’occasionner autant de souffrance autour de soi est totalitaire et sans amour de son prochain. Sous couvert de lois c’était des « baiseurs » finalement, et la femme interchangeable comme un troupeau de brebis….cette réalité historique est occulté par les scénaristes aux comportements machistes.
