The scarecrow does not appear out of nowhere. Dorothy is approaching a multiple point intersection of the yellow brick road and you are mistaking two different points as one point. In later parts of your video you can see both intersections, 1 with the fence assembled correctly, the other with the fence cross pieces fallen.

Agreed. In first shot Scarecrow is not seen simply because camera is turned to the opposite direction of the fields.

Prof. Marvel not returning the photo to Dorothy is not a movie mistake even by far. He simply didn't have time to give it back as Dorothy simply ran out before he could do it.

At the end of the movie when the Wizard is in the baloon to take Dorothy home, you can clearly see the Tin man undo the rope holding the baloon in place.

Also the trap door scene is understandable. That scene we see happened right before they went to lunch. They broke for lunch and went back to do it again and this time Margaret Hamilton ended up getting burned very badly cause that same trap door got stuck and the fire came up and caused her to get very badly burned. And she was out for weeks because of it. When she returned she said No more fire so they had no choice but to go with that scene we see today. I dont blame her one bit.

The scarecrow was on the other side of the road in the other feild. look at the difference of the crops in the “empty feild” and the feild with the scarecrow in it

Actually that tin man, who fell in the forest wasn’t Jack Haley, the tin man was a stunt person.

Bucket of water was a leftover from a deleted subplot involving Witch's cook who knew about Witch's weakness and was planting backets of water all around the castle to try to get rid of her. While this subplot was scrapped, the bucket remained. In the book, Dorothy kills her by pushing Witch's huge couldron full of magic stuff onto her.

The extinguishing candles would have happened out of necessity, for the safety of the scene. I always noticed that, too

Just because something doesn't make sense in our world, does not automatically qualify it to be a movie mistake. Case in point: the candle going out in chandalier. Oz is magical place and therefore it could be possible that candles can switch on and off at their own will.

Witches broom thing might be a mistake, but it doesn't have to be. To lower the broom it takes literally less than a second, so she had enough time to lower it down. Plus, it is not that much lower.

The Tin Man rusting is never explained in the movie, but there is perfectly good explanation found in the book. Tin Man was the name that Dorothy and Scarecrow gave him when they met him, but it was never and nowhere in the book or the movie confirmed that he was actually made out of tin. Since he can rust, he obviously is not made out of tin, but of some other metal. However, the name they gave him simply stayed.

Yes, and in the book, he was called "The Tin Woodman"... Further, from the second book on, his name was apparently "Nick Chopper" (which originated in the 1902 Broadway musical of "The Wizard of Oz" where they had an available song to use called "Nicolo's Piccolo", so they gave him that name and it just kinda stuck. I always wondered why it was never addressed that tin doesn't rust. He must've been an "Iron Man".

As far as the witch having water in her castle we have to remember that this is also Dorothy's dream. It happened not long after she sang Over The Rainbow Where troubles melt like lemon drops. That was the movie. The book on the other hand Dorothy did not dream it and it seems like someone else knew about her weakness and was going to take her out. Then there is the whole this is fantasy and if we are going to pick on this then we might as well be picky about every story ever written. Its a great movie with a very powerful message that I wish I had learned before I left home.

In the shot where you see Jack Haley's white shirt, you can also tell that he is wearing regular silver pants. Totally obvious they are not made out of any metal.

I didn’t watch all, as they seemed to be time-wasters, for the most part. However, from the start: Couldn’t the mark on the dress be moisture from any number of sources, like sweat, or spilling a cup of water, etc.? Why do you assume it to be grease? Why is it a mistake or blooper that Marvel didn’t return Dorothy’s photo? Don’t people forget, steal, or any number of other possibilities? And, as for the rest, it’s a DREAM sequence, so with hair styles, props, and everything else, ANYTHING GOES! It’s not as though Dorothy went unconscious as a brunette and awoke as a blonde…lol

1. This is a mistake. 2a. This is not a mistake even by far. It might be considered as character error, but even that is a stretch. There is perfectly good explanation he didn't return the photo to Dorothy. She ran out of his vagon so fast that he simply didn't have chance to return it to her. I know many people will say he didn't return the photo when he appeared at the end of the movie, either. However, just because something is not shown on-screen does not automatically mean it didn't happen. 2b. There is another thing in this scene that could potentially count as a movie mistake. Upon viewing the photo Dorothy gave him, Prof. Marvel claims to see whole bunch of farm buildings and such. Since we all know that Marvel is a fraud, he couldn't possibly see any of it in the photo of Dorothy and Auntie Em in front of picket fence. However, there could be an explanation that he simply correctly guessed all the usual buildings most farms had at the time and it just happened that he got them all right, which disqualifies it as a movie mistake. 3. This one is officially highely debatable is it movie mistake or not, but I personally think it is. 4. Probably is a movie mistake, but doesn't have to be. There is enough time for Dorothy to simply drop lollipop down while camera was following the Witch. I agree that it doesn't make much sense, but something just not making sense doesn't qualify it to be a movie mistake. Still, it is possibly a movie mistake as other explanations can be found, including it simply disappearing from Dorothy's hands. 5. This is a movie mistake. 6. This is a long stretch. How do we know that time in Oz doesn't go alot faster then in our world? Plus, it is all a dream. As we all know, in dreams things usually happen very fast and usually do not make much sense. 7. This is one of most famous cases of something being considered a very very very obvious movie mistake for decades, and later being proven it is not. The first shot - the one in which Scarecrow cannot be seen - is not the same shot as all of those in which he can be seen. In the first shot, you do not Scarecrow for one very simple and natural reason - he is positioned on the other side of yellow brick road behind where the camera is. He actually behind where the camera is in that shot. The entire shot showing him is reversed from the first one. If anybody needs a proof, look at the fence in front of those two fields - one is broken and the other one is complete. Totally not the same field. 8. Not a movie mistake as I explained in Number 7. Not the same fence. 9. This most defenetly is a movie mistake. And very very very obvious one. 10. Just like Number 9, this is very very very obvious movie mistake. I know that many will say that this particular scene was filmed at several points during filming, and that differences between shots shot at different times are very obvious quite a few time during this scene. However, that does not disqualify it from being a movie mistake. 11. Absolutely no doubt there is a trap door there, so it is a very obvious movie mistake. 12a. There is a problem with this and a very big one. There is no doubt that tin doesn't rust, we all know that. However, similar to Number 6, this is all a) fantasy world and b) a dream. It is possible that tin does rust in Oz. 12b. Additionally, it is nowhere stated in neither book nor the movie that Tin Man is actually made out of tin. In the book, Tin Woodsman was the name that Dorothy and Scarecrow gave him upon meeting him. There is a possibility that he is made of some other metal that does rust. 12c. Also, there is a third possible explanation that could qualify it as movie mistake. While tin does not rust, it does oxedise, which very often looks like and is mistaken for rusting, which is possibly what has happened in Tin Man's case. 13. This is not a movie mistake even by far. If you look carefully, right before Dorothy starts shaking Tin Man's arm to make it movie, you can very clearly see Dorothy dropping the apple to the ground and you can see the apple dropping down behind Tin Man's legs. 14. While mirror images in movies are not officially considered movie mistakes, as they are done on purpose, while mistakes are something that appears or happens in the movie unintentionally, I personally consider them a mistake if they happen in the same scene at least once. However, officially mirror images are not considered movie mistakes. 15. This totally is a movie mistake. 16. Personally, I do agree this is a movie mistake. However, he is not a human. He is a Winkie. It is possible that Winkie's tears do not come from eyes, but from somewhere else on their head. Also on that note, despite him just starting crying, his face literally covered with tears in just one second. That does not usually happen to humans. Still, personally, I do think it is a movie mistake. 17. White shirt is not the only problem in this scene. If you look at Tin Man's pants, you can very clearly see they are regular silver pants and not even made to look like they are made of metal except for color at all. Therefore, this is two movie mistakes in one shot. 18. Totally a movie mistake. 19. If they just went out and didn't come back on, this wouldn't be a movie mistake as the thing was dropped from ceiling so fast and with such brutal power, that it is possible that the crash would extinguish the candles. However, there is no reasonable explanation for them to come back on. Therefore, it is a movie mistake. 20. Probably one of the stupidest movie mistakes I have ever seen in my life. 21. This is a plot hole at best. While plot holes are officially considered a movie mistakes, I personally do not count them as such as they are a very long stretch. Plus, it is well known fact that the bucket was a leftover from a deleted scene involving Witch's cook trying to kill her with buckets of water left all over the place. 22. I have read and heard explanations that this does not count as movie mistake as it is possible that Toto got caught in it by mistake and simply pulled it as it walked under it. To me, this is a very obvious mistake as there is no reasonable explanation for this, plus Toto is very obviosly not caught in anything and is pulling the curtain on purpose.

A couple of my favorites that you forgot 1) In the woods tin man is carrying a wrench instead of an ax 2) Also in the woods the scarecrow has a gun in his hands
