I only just started watching this video and I'm already annoyed by it. Not because he's tarnishing the posters, but because it serves so little purpose. It's just busywork for his hands when he could simply point at the things he's talking about, going on to draw boxes around them is pointless.

The style that inspired the latest Susperia poster is called Trash Polka, a Polish movement popularized in underground and international tattoo exhibits. I love his breakdown in styles and how design is an art of impact and visual storytelling. I think most of the people commentary forget this is a Vanity Fair video and not a Skillshare on poster design.

I really want to say that I LOVE the poster for Emmerich's GODZILLA. It's stylish and to the point. Also I remember when I was like 5 or something that this poster was in a McDonald's my parents took me a few times when this movie was released. I couldn't yet read or whatever but for some odd reason this image stuck with me
