Spirit of Vengeance was awful. I don't think Nicholas Cage did terrible, I liked him as Ghost Rider, I'd love to see Keanu Reeves as the character. However, the issues I had with Spirit of Vengeance was the sickening camera movement, and flat story.

I think it's kind of unfair how Clooney gets crap for his version of Batman. He was by far not the worst part of those movies. :) I'm also suprised that Terminator: Dark Fate didn't make the list.

Under the right direction, I think Clooney could’ve thrived in the role. Joel Schumacher killed the franchise, which is wild to think because Batman Forever was a good film prior to Batman&Robin.

@@nate8604 I'm not sure if it was really Schumacher, or if it was the studio demanding "kid-friendly" changes. But whoever it was, they screwed the pooch on that one. And yeah, I think Clooney has more than proved himself an excellent actor at this point. I mean, it's possible he wasn't *as* good an actor back then, but I don't think any actor could've saved that turd.

The studio could’ve been part of it, but Joel Schumacher gets the most blame, he approved a weak script, and injected gay innuendos in the film, nipples on the costume, always doing closeups of the butts, all on the male costumes. Heck, even Chris O ‘Donnell and Clooney thought it was strange.

Really reaching with adding SIN CITY: A DAME TO KILL FOR on the list. The only reason it took so long to get the film made was because of internal turmoil with the studio and the person running it -as guy named HARVEY WEINSTEIN. There was nothing wrong with the film itself, but the studio was too preoccupied with other projects to promote it.

Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension killed that series, even though if I remember correctly, it was supposed to be the end of the series' story. Also Next of Kin seemed to kill it again, but PA: 8 The Other Side is in production currently.

Everyone expected the movie to end with a cliffhanger, wherein a giant, horn-helmeted Galactus descends from space, casting a giant shadow over New York City, and setting the stage for an epic battle royale in Fantastic Four III. Folks would have lined up around blocks to see that third installment, to learn whether the Watcher would intervene or if other Marvel heroes like Tony Stark/Iron Man, Bruce Banner/Hulk and Professor Xavier's X-Men would show up to help the Fantastic 4. Instead, the audience got a big, fat nothing burger.

I personally loved A Dame To Kill For. I thought it was a good secondary chapter to Sin City, though I may not have scattered the storylines quite as much as they did. But a star studded cast, beautiful imagery, Dwight's story with Eva. Loved it. Particulary Christopher Meloni as Mort the Detective. Wish he had a bigger part, he is freakin brilliant and I love him so much.

Blade 3...Wesley Snipes didn't want to have co-stars and the original script had Blade captured by the Vampires and they freeze him and use his blood so that Vampires could walk in daylight and take over.Blade is found and freed by the human resistance and it was set in a future like setting.Snipes tried to quit but the studio threatened to sue him.

Me too. I had to join ya here. Im glad I'm not alone. I loved the mano a mano final climactic conclusion to the story. It's quite epic in battle sequences as far as the next gen. I admit I didn't see it in theaters but not cause I was avoiding it, cause I bought it as soon as it came on DVD and I still like it. It ties up many conflicts. A fitting conclusion. And worthy trek! Problem with Beverly hills cop 3 was it wasn't directed to Tony Scott. Cop 2 was pretty much the ceiling. Alien 3 was a total disaster. Erasing the superior sequel in the opening credits and concluding with the death of Ripley was pretty definitive.

Yeah, Superman 4 was trash, despite having seeds of potential greatness scattered throughout. With a bit more work, the plot points about nuclear disarmament and a changing journalism industry could have produced solid drama, because both topics are still relevant today. People still worry about nuclear rogue states like North Korea and Iran, and the rise of Fox News/OAN/Truth Social has only strengthened worries about the type of rich egomaniacs who tried to buy the Daily Planet and to water down its news. In fact, when serious news-journalists Perry White and Clark Kent fought back corporate maneuvering by the billionaire propagandist seizing control of the Planet, that was an overlooked highpoint of the film. So, possibly what Superman 4 needed -- in addition to a bigger budget and better fight scenes -- was for the nuclear threat and the propaganda threat to be tied together. For instance, Lex Luthor could have been behind a plot to buy up the Daily Planet and other media outlets to push pro-war propaganda that would help him sell nuclear weapons to rogue states, along with protection from Lex's Nuclear Man clone to prevent Superman from interfering. That would have tied the scattered plot-threads of the nuclear-disarmament issue, the Daily Planet buyout and the Nuclear Man showdown into a tighter, neater knot.

I actually like Grease 2 better than the first one. I'm not really a fan of musicals, or movies set in the 50s, but I liked the second one because Michelle Pfeiffer was hot in it. When I first heard about Sin City: A Dame to Kill For, for some reason, it didn't feel like a real sequel to me. I can't explain it, but it seemed like it was just some ripoff with the Sin City name slapped on it. I know that's not the case, but that was the first impression I got, based on nothing more than the name, and that negatively (and unfairly) affected my view of the film.

I think that a good candidate for this list would be Arthur 2: On the Rocks.The first movie was well written, acted directed and had a great ending that clearly did not need a follow-up. The second Artur movie, on the other hand, was implausible (how could Arthur Bach's enemy from the first movie, Burt Johnson, buy out the Bach's business when Arthur's family was wealthier than Burt's?), Arthur came across as more ridiculous than likable, and Hobson's ghost (?) showing up as a plot device. Bullshit! I heard that Dudley Moore was even thinking of a third Arthur movie (I guess it would be called Arthur 3: Bottoms Up or maybe Arthur 3: Down the Hatch). But I think they shouldn't have even bothered with this one. By the way I LOVE Grease 2 and it has definitely grown a cult following over the years of which I a proud member of, thank you.

Alien Resurrection had some layers...The writer,Joss Whedon,wanted Chow Yun Fat for a starring role.Chows representatives turned down the part.Their were 2 major action sequences cut from the script.A big action sequence in the ships farm part and their was a showdown with the white Alien on Earth.

Robocop 2 disappointing?? No way! Irvin Kirschner - who also directed The Empire Strikes Back - was brilliant and made Frank Miller's literally unfilmable script into a great movie. Admittedly I don't like the color change to the suit and the movie is not up there with Robots 1, but it's still a great movie. Orion killed the franchise by rushing #3 and not waiting for Weller to.be available and hiring a cheap B movie director like Dekker. I love The Monster Squad but Dekker is out of his league with Robocop.

Batman & Robin: It is really hard for me to dislike a movie. But....this was bad. NOT because of Clooney. Not so good writing [where it starts]. Not so good direction. Too many villains in one movie. CGI is a tool not a movie maker. Too long. Etc. Sad to say because I do have an understanding of what it takes to make a movie and it is appreciated. Sad leaving the theatre. They forgot the Disney Wars movies that killed Star Wars as well as saying that all Star Trek starting with JJ killed that franchise. All the amazing franchises have been destroyed by those that only care about agenda and cared not for good story and following lore unlike many of these franchises that were just destroyed because of bad story telling. The national lampoon movies would've been better had they kept the same kids & continued their evolution. Instead the European movie had a different Audrey. That character was a whiny mess. The Vegas movie changed Aubrey actress again. It also changed Russ actor. Made it hard to invest into the new actors with each new movie. When Chevy & Beverly's characters stayed consistent. Chevy was hilarious in all the movies. He was fantastic in Fletch too. The final movie with the kids grown up with Christina Applegate. It was a tough watch.

@matt . You and I have different definitions to "MCU". A reboot is possible, and I hope it happens. Ghost rider is one of my favorite marvel characters. I didn't know they were making a new blade movie. I'm curious to know who their casting.

Also, the Hangover series. 2&3 was horrible. Let's not forget Hot Tub Time Machine, the 2nd one seemed rushed and stuff left out.
