Funnily enough all of the direct to DVD Disney sequels were animated in Australia. The animation industry is rather tight knit here in Australia so we younger Aussie animators all hear stories from their production days with Disney, I've personally met 5 people who worked on them. I wouldn't be so quick to pretend that those sequels didn't happen because the team who worked on them were all so passionate and dedicated to their craft and they basically got no recognition for their work on those movies.

@ThatShockedMonkeyMeme yeah, I know, lol. Despite the fact that they changed him back, the message that they mainly displayed was, "looks don't matter." This wasn't just for the end. In my opinion, the main message of the whole narrative of the film foreshadows throughout, due to the fact Skipper doesn't treat him the same for he sees him as a little boy/brother, hence why he didn't allow Private to do much in the movie compared to the other two. So, I think the moral of the whole concept of the film and the main message, even with or without Privates' new look, is "looks don't matter." That's just my opinion, lol. You don't have to agree, lol.

I really don't see why many people want a live-action remake of Treasure Planet and Atlantis, like both films are REALLY GOOD but a trend that many people have with these movies it's that "I'll make it better!" Or "it deserves a live-action remake because these movies are more suitable for that". These movies in my opinion are "perfect" (I put it on quotes because perfect for me, wouldn't be perfect for you), animation these days has been treated bad in my opinion because you take something good (The Lion King as an example) and try to make it live-action because the way it is now makes it even better (and it isn't the case). It's just business and trying to milk nostalgia, but hey I'm just a random dude who is like really bored and this is just my humble opinion (sorry for bad English tho)

Idk I absolutely love all 3 of the How To Train Your Dragon movies but I did agree with you about a lot of other things Gotta say though: The scene in the beginning of Madagascar 2, where they’re all in the plane and then it crashes- one of the funniest scenes in any of those movies

Spoiler alert The main issue with hhtyd 3 was that the creators worked backwards from the ending. The director didn't want to make any more movies in the trilogy, and he wanted the ending to be the humans and the dragons separating as an allusion to the ending of the book series. There were several gripes I had with the movie, but the main one was this. The message in hhtyd 1 and 2 were contradictory to the one in hhtyd 3. Toothless and hiccup each saved each others lives many times before. They weren't just friends, or pet and owner. They were like soulmates. Cinderella is the exception to disney sequels though. Simply because everyone i talk to either like the third or second movie more than the original. I love the third one and i like Cinderella adjusting to the castle in the 2n one, but that's it.

Fun fact about Dreamworks, they were originally planning on making a Plants vs Zombies movie with Popcap, but it sadly got cancelled, but why it looks sick, and it did what a video game movie should do. 1: Don't stray too far off of the franchise and 2: Don't be live action. The two angry birds movie did these and they were both good, and not to mention, there was not only Crazy Dave in the movie, but a bunch of uniquely designed plants like a bean plant with bean nunchucks and an onion sumo wrestler.
