That shows how little they cared. They could´ve written another story, like she had problems with her manager or study or whatelse, and she wanted revenge, and someway that was related with the museum and the jewels. A little bit more motivation than just be bored and lonely

Daphne's such a fascinating character. She's very full of herself, but very aware of her own flaws. The limited world views, but still being perceptive enough to realize that she was a pawn in duping someone. Ambitious enough to use what she learned to her advantage, but honorable and genuine enough to want a part in the heist not simply for the money, but because she believed in the motivation for doing so and wanting to connect with the others too.

I think it wasn't for Helena, but it refers to bad acting from the designer. The designer was pretending Daphne had the greatest neck to fit the necklace (in order to comfort her), which was lie. The designer had to did everything to make Daphne using the necklace.

Pitch Perfect wasn't a gender bend on a successful franchise. Never once have I watched the original Ocean's franchise and thought, "Man, this would be so much better with women." And I'm a woman who loves all of these actresses, but these types of films set women up for failure. Right away you're setting a precedent that these films need to be compared to their original counterparts, rather than giving these women their own story. So Danny's sister will inevitably be compared to Danny Ocean, which immediately cheapens her role. Why would we watch this version when the original is superior (and yes, I'm aware that the Clooney version isn't the original, but still)? It feels incredibly forced they are trying to reach a quota by having women in these roles, but rather than giving them something of their own, they want to utilize a formula that has worked before. It suffers from the same issue that the Disney remakes have. The newer films will no doubt make lots of money at the box office because of nostalgia, but they lack the soul that made the original films great. Charlie's Angels suffered because no one cared enough to go watch the remake. The original films/TV were fine, but didn't have the same cultural impact as the Ghostbusters or Oceans. As such, it was an odd choice for a reboot and the original film still did it better because the characters had unique skill sets, rather than being three versions of the same character.

I have Irish ancestry and grew up in an area in the North of England where there were many Irish, and her accent is very bad, it's not nuanced, and there's many types of Irish accent, from Belfast to Dublin, but hers is like textbook taught Irish. It jars listening to it, and she didn't need to be Irish if she couldn't do an accent.

This was the moment the movie truly became rubbish. It felt like SUCH a copout... plan gets made, plan gets executed with some laughs, plan succeeds. OH WAIT Randomly make Anne's character the real genius of the film by having her figure out the whole thing at the very end. lol.
