Tinfoil hat theory, Interpol is an international CIA and their vague and contradictory operating mandate outside of "We dont make arrests like police" is intentional. I just looked up as much as I could on them, but including Europols own website, when looking up information between the difference between Interpol and Europol, you get the impression Europol is what Interpol is described to be and Interpol is closer to the CIA or Mi6. My heads spinning because some sites give what Europol actually is as the description for what Interpol is and others make it seem like they are an International FBI but without arresting authority. Tinfoil hat says this is intentionally confusing because they are actually far more internationally entrenched and influential but simply lack law enforcement authority, like the CIA, and the intend confusion helps cover the reality of the organization. A straight forward description of this org seems impossible and every LEO org and country seems to have their own interpretation of what Interpol is other than not being an arresting police force.

@@silvrnightingale My understanding is that in the USA, if you prevent someone from leaving, they're arrested or detained, but if you actually take someone somewhere else, they're arrested. You can arrest someone, then decide not to charge them after talking to them.

@smartalek180 spoilers in a movie that basically everyone has seen and no not Republican nor democrat please keep political views off any of my posts politics are a very sensitive subject and cause very heated arguments. It's a surprise that you have not seen the movie since it has been out since 2013. I feel like you are only attacking me because you are one of those political extremists who just want to put anyone down just to make people hate themselves for no reason. I hope your life gets better and dont jusge a book by its cover that is very inconsiderate and biggoted
