My mom showed my siblings and I this movie when we were kids, she didn't care about the cursing but I'm pretty sure she totally forgot about this scene before she decided it was good for movie night. Forgot about this scene, and love it. Reminds me of the old sitcom Three’s Company, where every other gag is a “misunderstanding” or some play on words that extends the joke. It’s done beautifully here, just enough nuance to laugh even though you know the underlying premise.
