Even if I do think this movie is stupid, I really can’t get mad at them for that. You just barely made it through fighting 3 giant kaiju, and now your seeing them get combined into a giant one. It’s not gonna be “hey let’s attack it” your gonna be frozen in shock and terror. Like the moment where Raijin spun that one Jaeger in a circle like a wrecking ball. I didn't think a kaiju like Raijin could be that fight so intelligent. I have a feeling that some kaijus are very smart on how the way they fight.

@@redsirius8844 in fairness the power rangers robot-toys transform on the way in from their wilderness hideout (thunderbird style) while the monster of the week is posturing, testing out it's powers and kicking over a few buildings. meanwhile these military robots with moderate ranged ordinance are standing around while macro-machines pull together 3 still-living kaiju into a mountain of fog and angry, even some off-map artillery could have landed by they time the gormless group standing side by side decided to run directly in with a column formation when they were just handed a numerical advantage against a now larger and slower single foe.

I see so many people are talking about the lost of the heaviness but if you think it deeply , this movie is more make sense. Do you guys remember the features of Cherno , Gispy ,Typhoon and Striker ? Cherno is Mark 1 so the way of the attack is the simplest and the heaviest , Gispy is mark 3 also walk like a tank but started at Typhoon it is mark 4 so become more agile and it can use 3 thrusters to push itself to air then Striker is obviously mark 5 the lastest one and the most agile jaeger . It is easy to explain to you now , first time striker appeared in Sydney to deal with a kaiju in daylight , you can see how fast the punches it were and it's punches are not like how Gispy punch to the kaijus. Typhoon can almost fly with thrusters. Gispy is Mark 3 right? Of course she is quite slow while attacking and walking . Typhoon is mark 4 but flying to the mid air is almost impossible for a giant and heavy robot with 3 thrusters . Striker is mark 5 so it walks very fast and agile. In the second movie , every battle were on the land and if you think jaegers walk like a toy . It is a bit wrong . I assume put Striker on land and let it walk . It would be walk like Mark 6 jaegers like what weight we saw in the movie . Talking about kaiju in the sequel , every level of kaiju started at category 6 if the jaegers move like tank and bulky . I think they can be destroyed very easily . If they aren't make the jaegers lighter than before and the pilots still need to control them in the old way. It shows us the human make no progress in the advancement of the technologies. All I want to say is don't get so serious when you watching a movie just like you watching marvel series in the theater , you won't say oh that is not realistic . That's not following the law of physics . That is not fun if you watching movies like this and I am ready to be scolded by everyone
