FILM DESCRIPTION:
Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf) and his new girlfriend, Carly (Rosie Huntington-Whiteley), join the fray when the evil Decepticons renew their longstanding war against the Autobots. Optimus Prime (Peter Cullen) believes that resurrecting ancient Transformer Sentinel Prime (Leonard Nimoy), once the leader of the Autobots, may lead to victory. That decision, however, has devastating consequences; the war appears to tip in favor of the Decepticons, leading to a climactic battle in Chicago.

Actually his weapons weren't all that good really or at least not as good as the sword of judgement he had in aoe if he had that here then he would've likely beaten sentinel.

It's actually because Sentinel's weapons were perfect. Both his sword and shield can be used as offensive and defensive weapons meanwhile Optimus has an axe and a sword that can only be used offensively

@@AutobotAvengerXL The comic adaptation of Dark of the Moon actually showed Dylan getting reduced to ash after he was electrocuted by the control pillar. Kinda like how Starscream died in the G1 movie. Also, both of them died because of betrayal. While Starscream was killed by Galvatron for throwing him out of Astrotrain while he was still Megatron, Dylan was killed by Sam for being a traitor to humanity.
