@@1badjesus in defense of that one, it isn’t actually a perfect rendition of Folsom. The potential is there but you can tell Cash is nervous, Luther Perkins is hesitant and comes in a few bars late for his solo. It’s probably not completely accurate to how it happened, but it feels way more genuine than most biopics for a situation like that.

This is definitely one of the best movies about the music industry from the comedic point of view. John C. Reilly did an awesome job. He has musical talent. Like most of his movies, some of the best, old school actors are with him, Tim Meadows ( SNL), Chris Parnell, too many to list. I've challenged myself to see if I could watch without laughing, haven't been able to do. Even on days that are so difficult to get through, this movie does manage to get me to chuckle. Seems like a movie that is not well known, but it was released in 2007, somewhat of a classic. Undoubtedly a movie I would, like many, would recommend.

I have to say, I saw the trailer for this and I thought it was stupid. I went to go see in theaters with friends. Aside from Anchorman 1 and 2, I’ve never laughed so hard in a movie in my life.

Walk Hard slaps hard, especially when he does cocaine and invents punk.

So many funny spoofs just in this scene. That the band starts to automatically know the lyrics that they're never heard, of course spoofing the guirar solo on the spot in Walk the Line, as well as the Sam Phillips type character overplaying what it would take Dewey to get signed on a second chance, spoofing the speech by Phillip's in Walk the Line and the Elvis Sun Records story with That's Alright (Mama). The way everyone is immediately in love and inspired with the song, literally seconds, and how fast it got on the radio, spoofing how quickly Elvis That's Alright and Cash's I Walk the Line were loved by everyone and got on the air. And the Jews that run show business being Jewish Rabbis lol
