For everyone saying that's a suspiciously modern looking wheelchair. I took the trouble to look it up. It's a pretty good representation of a wheel chair from around the 1870s. Radial spokes, similar to small wagon wheels, and with a metal ring for the hands to propel it. Big wheels at the front and castor wheel(s) at the back. Whether the character could have bought one out there in the old west is another question, but it's reasonably accurate for period.

Although Bill Hickock carried 2 revolvers he only ever dual wielded them once. He had been knocked down and had about 4-6 guys attacking him. So he pulled both pistols and opened up. Every other time he would only draw 1 pistol and fire than the other if he had to.

Do anyone of you watching this movie years later notice the actor from HBO's Deadwood helping lifting Wild Bill while he was in the chair to even the odds for Bruce Dern'a character? That actor was one of Geroge Hearst man that had his eye popped out by one of Al Swearegen man. Also wacthing this movie I can't help but think that is is highly possible that Quentin Tarantino was a fan of the movie as well.
