It's really, and I mean REALLY, different if you have a fantasy about this kinda "CNC" kinda thing. (CONSENSUAL- NON- CONSENSUAL) Kinda play. Crazy enough, I do. He was jealous possessive type and although that might sound so romantic in the end it cost her her life. She was still alive bleeding on the floor after being shot and all he did was put a blanket over her face and then afterwards went to eat at IHOP . Not Hot!

@CrystalMadeClear Жыл бұрын
Well, "Romance" is subjective by definition, for better or worse. Even death is romantic for some people. The word is defined by how it makes us _feel._ That being said, you are right about it being categorized as a "Thriller/Suspense" movie, not romance, and the intentions it was produced with. Though there was definitely a lot of romance in the beginning, which _led to_ the cautionary aspects. Almost no movie is really _all_ one genre. In any case, no one here seems to find this movie romantic, so I can't imagine who you're talking to. Yeah, some people are commenting that the "hot guys are always crazy", but that's just because it's so tragically ironic. Nature tells us that good-looking things are good and safe, while ugly things are bad and dangerous. Movies like these remind us that nature isn't always right.
@swagger0232 ай бұрын
@@CrystalMadeClearperfectly explained. Although I haven’t seen this film yet, this definitely does remind me of another manwha I once read named ‘killing stalking’ but instead both parties are crazy in their own ways. They both appear as a couple or have a romantic interest in each other. I believe that the possibility of it being “love” or as romance in film can be used to perform as an illusion, that “love” can blur your version of what’s healthy and what isn’t, and his looks made things 1000% more difficult for the girl to leave, reflecting societies views on a toxic relationship as “toxic, yet so hot” as this is evident in the comment section. It’s commonly said with people who have never experienced a relationship like this, so it’s heavily romanticised and idealised in their heads and infatuation comes at play. Because of this point being made, films like these teach and prove an important point about delusions and boundaries in relationships, yet still reflecting clear flaws in our society.

Any Legend Of Korra fans in here? In the first season, the villain ambushed Korra, rendered her helpless, and threatened to rob her of what was most precious to her, but deliberately chose not to. His intention was to make it clear to her that he could dominate her anytime, anywhere. I didn't realize it then, but about 1.5 years after the episode aired, I read an article discussing how that scene was similar to rape/assault. After learning of that disturbing reference, it made me remember this scene. Strange how the mind works sometimes...

Alisha Shakoor Yeah, and after rewatching the finales of Books 2 and 3, I realized that Korra was metaphorically raped in these finales too. Book 1, she loses the veil of security/safety which had enabled her to be an overconfident Avatar, Book 2, she loses a major aspect of her identity when she gets separated from Raava and loses the connection to her past lives, and finally in Book 3, her body becomes physically ravaged. All these traumatic events caused Korra to break down and cry.

Being hot for Mark because of this scene and his great looks is the equivalent of a man being attracted to Jodi Arias--the violent killer.

I think the best way for a girl to handle this scary situation is to go with the flow and pretend that you are not disturbed or bothered by the presence of the person. By doing so, you allow yourself to plan your escape. Easier said than done but I believe it works.
