This is my childhood friends house. Spent so many days here. It’s in Hinsdale, Illinois. We were too young when they filmed here but knowing DeNiro was in their house was amazing lol.

So axe was also willing to kill two firemen to prove his point? Doesn't scene kinda counter it?? I mean I get this scene it for drama but for Adcox's motives, you'd think he'd pull those out of the house and then run.. Otherwise he's killing just as many fireman in that scene as Swazaks task force budget cuts did..

I guess he saw Brian and Rimgale as almost like “traitors” to the Fire Department due to them working for Swayzak.

That's almost certainly NOT Scott Glenn, but rather a stunt guy. It doesn't look or sound like him, and most people wouldn't bother bringing in the actor for a fight scene like this, when a stunt performer could do a better job.
@rhey812 жыл бұрын
Not to mention its a job.. Most actors don't do their own stunts because it takes a job away from someone else if they did em themselves..
@toddsmitts2 жыл бұрын
@@rhey81 Although Scott Glenn DID do some actual stunts later in the film (like being set on fire) that warranted a stunt credit (same with William Baldwin and Kurt Russell).
@user-ve5ln5le9y2 жыл бұрын
Stuntmen and women don’t get enough credit. Witness the incredible stunt work in The Towering Inferno specifically the fire in Dan Bigelow’s office. That scene horrified me as a kid but as an adult I’m like ‘goddamn that is badass’
@vb8428 Жыл бұрын
@@rhey81 Also because it would shut down the whole production for long if they got injured. Stuntmen are more expendable I guess.
A lot of this movie is over the top (frustratingly because if they toned it down a bit it could be so much better) but the truth is it’s pretty scary and thrilling this scene). It’s not an auteur flick but then it’s also way better than a stupid Michael Bay film.
