This is a very touching movie. For the first time In a long time I wasn't disappointed with the ending of the movie. The emotional level of this movie was very genuine. I enjoyed every minute. Thank You for bringing these two stars together. They somehow brought more of their talent out of each other.

I think this film is awesome to show the power of human insticts in it's best . It shows that how nature and basic human instincts can shift the emotion of even an engaged and married person to another person in just a week . And it demonstrates that love can just happen between any stranger if we put them in a physical and emotional bounds .

If you are interested in that, you should watch the movie (and all related documentaries) about the Andes survivors. In 1972 a group of rugby players had an airplane accident and were trapped in the Andes mountains for 72 days. 16 of them survived. The movie is well made. It is called "Alive" and is from 1993, the main character being a very young Ethan Hawke, playing "Nando Parrado", whose real talks you can see on TED Talks as well. Very touching, and inspiring true story, which shows the strength and power of the human being when in extreme conditions.

Folarin...yes, but the dialect coach for Kate should have been shot. I have studied many of the regional accents of my country, but never have I heard one like that one. The floppy tongue...pronouncing the letter L like Dracula did. Ugg! She was supposed to be educated, that usually means a regional accent has been dealt with. I know college kicked mine to the curb. I notice many people didnt like her accent. She mastered an American accent when she was only a kid, they should have let her be her own dialect coach.

Amazing movie! Very, very good acting. Also love how realistic the relationship between them was. Lots of high stress and arguing due to the situation, two clashing personalities learning to work together. Also really liked the behind the scenes and how everyone involved worked so hard to make it so real by filming in real environments. Amazing work!

I will definitely see this in theaters. Winslet is always brilliant and always taking interesting risks, Elba is quickly becoming very popular for good reason, he's fantastic. This looks like a very good pairing of actors, and even though this trailer is only so so, I can tell that the actual film is going to be very good. Plus BEAU BRIDGES is the pilot! Nice small role for the reliable veteran actor. Can't wait!

I remembered a person I like recommended me to watch this movie. At first, I’m not interested to watch but then I give it a try (watch during lockdown). Overall; not bad. Survived and fall in love, not heartbreaking like titanic :) Tbh, this movie kinda realistic in terms of human behaviour and relationships. They survived and created memories together. Person who left you with most amazing feelings will win over with a person you knows the longest. It’s not about the time, it’s about presence.

Several things, 1st Idris Elba has given some of the most incredible performances over the past decade. His mark is carved in stone as one of the best actors EVER. His skills are well rounded and his diversity is impressive. I'm not saying he has reached God status like Tom Hardy or Gary Oldman but he is definitely one of my favs of all time. Now for the movie. Is there really enough material here to warrant another stranded on a mountain after a plane crash movie. I mean the ENTIRE movie shows nothing but a solid white mountain, and there is only so much that could ever happen. U don't think that maybe, Alive covered all of this already. Or The Edge, Call of the Wild I could go on for days. Unless Idris is going to whip it out and start slapping her face with his bologna, or Bigfoot is going to pop in for a cameo I honestly can't see any possible way to call this ambitious in any way. And by the way, I must admit I have to eat my words regarding Kate Winslet. I was completely convinced that Kate would have exceeded the weight limit for a small plane by now. Good job Kate, because u do indeed have a fat girls body, ur body just hasn't' realized it yet. What's ur secret AIDS or CANCER? 🤣
