This movie was absolutely wonderful! I can hardly think of something wrong with it--great themes, wonderful acting. The two leads had such a realistic relationship and really sold the movie. I thought a lot of "Dirty Dancing", another coming-of-age story in the same time period and it was interesting how this one handled the political events and how they influenced the story since "Dirty Dancing" only vaguely refers to some of what's happening.

Good combination of two young Hollywood talents right in Isabella Furhman and Liane Liberato! I've been wanting Furhman to get her breakout post Orphan debut role for years! Also, I hope Ione Skye does more stuff again! The problem is marketing this film to teenage girls who have no idea who Elanore Roosevelt is or don't care because they've only heard of her in history class!
