​@LoopsPls The whole point of a franchise is to get younger actors so they can do it for many years before aging out. Granted it has been confirmed that most of these characters will die. But the one's who will survive will essentially be able to make it in the long run. Which is why we have a Superman who's in his early 30s instead of Henry who is already 40. They go with younger actors so these younger actors can lead the franchises (if their characters survive) for a very very long time without the studio having to worry about a potential recast. Not defending it at all, but that's the reasoning behind it and it makes sense.
