Megadog Well, I think we all pretty much "watched the whole movie". Weird kid goes to a new school, doesn't fit in, gets bullied, and comforted by an unusually attractive girl. One day, gets an assignment to go talk to an old dude; talks to an old dude who used to be CIA (or an assassin); learns how to socialize and apparently how to play football (maybe that's what he wanted to do). Disappoints the girl that's stood by him the whole time when he gets popular, and he has to make it up to her some way. And he does.

I like Nat Wolff but for me he's still a bit of a supporting actor. I don't think he pulls off the lead, even after Paper Towns which I liked and found myself relating to his character to an almost insane degree. For me, he can't sink into his character's arrogant and selfish side as easily as it really should. In Paper Towns, he seemed a bit 'stiff' when his character's obsessive and selfish side kicked in, I hope I've explained it well enough. He's likeable but I don't think he's good enough yet to be in a lead role
@redluca569 жыл бұрын
+Corey Media Not a mistake, he's just not fully capable of getting past shy good guy. He has no charisma, no brashness about him.
@redluca569 жыл бұрын
+Corey Media Well this and Paper Towns indicate he is playing it safe. I look forward to something he's doing that doesn't involve him playing similar bland characters
@redluca569 жыл бұрын
+Corey Media Well I don't go out of my way. Just by seeing this and having seen Paper Towns twice, and still judging fairly on his performance in Paper Towns, which like I said was okay, he still hasn't done enough. Either way I'm talking to you and I can't win with you so I'm going to shut up then

***** Well from what I've seen then.
@MasterAppels9 жыл бұрын
+Luca Munro Yeah I agree with you that he doesn't have the acting chops to lead a film especially one that might not be the same old movies he does. Good actors make you feel as thought a character is alive and not just an actor playing someone, and I never get that from his performances.

Man, you people have to chill, so what if the trailer showed the whole movie? That's why you get movie box and watch it for free to see if it's any good. And NAT Wolff is really great at acting, and he will continue on because he's going to be one of the main characters for Alaska, please remember that John green also submits papers on how well the actors did on movies and I'm sure nat did amazing, plus when they are looking to make a movie, they try to find people who look like the characters and who feel like the character. Remember, it's all about the movie creator's choice. So don't blame this on nat Wolff, because for all we know, all he got was a part on the movie.

Problems with this movie ALREADY: - Nat Wolff is just terrible like always. Playing the same character he always does - Predictable story line. They fall in love, he lets her down, they break up then make up - Rourke plays the stereotypical 'old-man who is secretly a bad-ass' - Sarah Silverman ALWAYS making jokes about her vagina. - The lonely, outcast kid wins the big game for the jocks who underestimated him God, this is shit
