The characters were some of the most genuine I have ever seen. Just real people struggling with life. Great acting and writing. You won't see that in a typical hollywood movie.

Wow this is a good movie 🍿 I watched it downtown Vancouver Washington at the kiggins theater.. this was filmed in Portland Oregon and the coast and through out the movie she sees herself on the ocean and something stops her from going in there then at the end she’s inside the ocean well before I watched this movie! Before I saw this I went down to the coast on the bus 🚌 from Portland to seaside and I was sitting on broadway and was thinking Gabor going into the ocean 🌊 but stopped my self I sat on the bench on broadway thinking about ending my life and didn’t :) the. Saw this move after that wow and I grew up in seaside Oregon

Spoiler below, Questions on ending? So what did that end mean exactly? Is it meant to leave us scratching our heads and perceive it any way we see fit? Because it didn't look like a dream all of them seeing her as a mermaid, but then at the end, it's her walking into the sea. So did she commit suicide? Crazy thing is before I saw this movie I live in Vancouver I’m From the Oregon coast I went down to seaside the Oregon coast and I was going to kill myself and go into the ocean 🌊 I couldn’t bring myself to do it I got back home 🏡 to Vancouver and watched this movie in theaters well through out the movie she is framing about going into the ocean and at the end of the movie she goes into the ocean also what’s crazy is That this movie was filmed in Portland Oregon and the Oregon coast where I’m from
