Just saw this movie today at an Indy theatre in New Jersey. It started a bit slow but I quickly found myself emotionally embedded into the brother and sister characters. I think I cried through most of the 2nd half and when it was over, I felt like I was leaving Montana. Such a simple story in some ways but it just ripped on my heart.

I saw this last fall at TIFF and it was my favourite film at the entire festival. It's absolutely incredible. I hope more people get to see it because it really deserves an audience.

I saw it on digital, it's an amazing movie. Reminded me of Nomadland and Into The Wild, two slow burn western movies that i really love. It's a shame that the marketing for this movie was very lacking

Your father s story is completed now there' s nothing to be added . But your s is still unfolding. Thank you for such " relieving" & uplifting dialogue. "releasing" isn't alleged. It's right there. And it is uplifting, as your story is still be added to by what you choose to do with your life, your free will. Yet, here you are... wilfully choosing to add weird KZbin comments to your "story" that say and add absolutely nothing of substance. 🧐 Curious Anyway, as for the film...it seems like Dad may not be a good guy? That's the perspective of this trailer. "What he (possibly father) did to her (possibly daughter) that night" is the mystery that you'll just have to figure out. If you want a fantasy rainbow only story, try Disney. But not Bambi. Or The Lion King. Or any fairy tale source material for that matter. Actually, just read the word "rainbow" over and over again, as that should meet your bizarre standard of so-called "good messaging." You're probably the least interesting and most shallow person around so you could always do something about that if and when rainbows ever get boring. Good luck 🤞
