It's so strange not to see huge roller coasters peaking over the trees.

So cool that I can watch something from decades ago about a theme park I love. Pretty cool to see the loading station unchanged from the monorail for Cheetah Hunt.

At least the park kept the Hospitality House (3:05). It is amazing how that building is still around. It was one time an Italian Buffet but then was turned into a general restaurant. A great reminder of the Park's vast history.

Wow, didn't realize how big the wild life area was for the animals... although it's still rather big, it would've been nice to keep it more open space for certain animals like the hippos, elephants, etc.

I would imagine idea because they'd like people to still go there.

It’s still very beautiful. And some of the earlier coasters like Kumba and Montu use this beauty and theming to their advantage

It's too bad that they ruined the garden with amusement rides.

It wasn’t ruined, it changed focus on rides because you can’t really get far with a beer garden when Disney World is nearby. Look at Cypress Gardens. Once a popular attraction declined as Disney, Universal, and the rest gained more popularity, and now it’s a Legoland that can manage to compete on a smaller scale

Times and focus change. It was made that way because of Busch gardens Williamsburg and to compete with competition right down the road. If people wanted beer and to see animals they would go to a zoo not spend $120 on Busch gardens for the same thing. The rides help not only bring in enthusiasts and people far away. But also help bring back locals. I do wish I could experience the Busch Gardens of the past. But it had to adapt to competition. As stated before if I wanted to drink beer and go see animals I would just go to a zoo where it's cheaper
