Tom's making moves for sure. Greg is making moves. Shiv and Kendall are turning into true Logan prototges. And surprisingly, Roman is the only person left with any humanity.

@@SoulfulVeg Agree, Roman has the perfect ally in Jerry while slowly accruing company experience and management savvy. Doesn't show Shiv's spitefulness and has positioned himself as the most trustworthy sibling in Logan's eyes. Greg is integral to both Ken and Logan futures, but ultimately it depends on how legit those precious papers are. The showrunners can take that plot device in many directions, they might have been playing us all along.

Great review -- Ken's ego took a hit, but ultimately, it won't matter -- it'll get buried in the news cycle by the bigger story of the Waystar raid. Logan should've prepared for that warrant from the get-go. Everything else should've been buying time to prepare. Pure ego is why he didn't prep, and that's a bigger hit, consequence-wise. If Ken has good PR, they can spin everything in that letter as "they're panicking because the accusations are true and maligning a recently sober in-good-conscience whistleblower" and the Roys would eat both the raid and bad PR from how they handled things. Ken's snagged on superficialities like little jokes on a nothing show, and doesn't know how to run this knife in all the way to the hilt. *That's* his problem.

Ken can't exorcise his demons and hasn't made the leap fully, too hampered by his exhaustive search for self worth. Going to battle with Shiv head on was never going to end well for him. Ultimately it won't matter, the walls are closing in fast on Logan and his 'allies' and apparatchiks are creaking and wobbling. Both parties are desperate to accrue and secure players from the other side. Everything is accelerating, father and son's flaws brilliantly laid out. Fantastic episode.

Tom will never forget what Shiv did to him. Since the last season she didn't support him during the family boat scene when his name came up as a " scarifice ", the open marriage thing that wasn't agreed. Plus this episode it was clear she was all with him doing time for Logan & saving the company !! 😑 everyone will start looking for their best interest and jump ship !!

wow I was shocked when I heard an interview with Matthew Macfadyen who plays Tom because I had no idea he was British. His American accent on the show is totally natural and perfect.

Logan is the master of reaction and coercion. Might he have leveraged Kendall’s visit as a way to surprise Shiv and break any remaining connection to Kendall? I think Logan had Colin place the speakers and blast Nirvana during the Town Hall. Then Colin had his guys plant the boxes in Kendall’s office where he knew Shiv would find them. Logan is the one who needs most for Shiv to get off the fence and over to his side.

Never have we seen Shiv in a fuglier dress. That blue number? Up to this point, she’s always been dressed with an impeccable eye to her colouring and her surroundings. Kendall saying to her, ‘they’ve dressed you up’ nailed it for me as telegraphing to the viewers that Shiv is being worn by Waystar. Not the other way around. No real surprise there. But someone put a lot of effort into the ‘optics’ of that scene.

Shiv’s dedication to this sinking ship is making me question how smart she really is she really could of just joined ken and waited for him to inevitably self destruct instead she sided with Logan who has fucked her over in the past after promising big things her lack of understanding of her situation is getting questionable af

Roman could actually be good but nowhere near right now,” she starts. “Kendall, I don’t know, it’s like you put him in a big-kid diaper and he can shit himself whenever he likes. He has all the shots but he doesn’t know when to play them. Then she also tells Kendall he's still in the rock tumbler. And Logan said he doesn't have killer instinct. I feel like this season is Kendall owning who he is..a killer and he's gonna cut all their throats but gain their respect and bring the family to his side. Side note got sad for Connor when Roman recalled the fishing memory feel like Connor was probably more a dad than any of them. Wish Roman would just marry that stone cold fox Gerri already too!

I follow many reviews; Roman is smart, has great ideas but reviewers are saying no1 listens to him. I feel for him, he’s been abandoned. His relationship with Gerri is the relationship he wants with another person.

He is young, but has very good corporate instincts and talents which he is innately adept at disguising. He is like the guy who wins Survivor. He has an Ace in the hole too. One to watch as he flies under the radar.

I loved Tom sticking up for himself with the new lawyer. On second watch I saw that Tom saw Logan and The Presidents daughter in discussion. And then next scene Kendall says “[Logan] talking to White House back channels?” And he’s 100% correct

Yes he did. For lack of better words, he's the guy who handles matters like that for Logan. Like in the first episode in season 1, when he gave the little boy's family an NDA to sign and the wristwatch.

I think ken went to the office to seriously participate but after the scene with the bodyguard he decided to turn his visit to a prank. Ken was probably happy in the end bc the FBI news will overshadow the letter by Shiv. Ken appealing to the public may have helped him this time around more than Logan appealing to political power. The public forgets more than the powers that be.

The show went well with the drama. Logan short-term wins but I sense reality is closing it. As I recall he is in mental decline and that could manifest itself when he needs it most. There is a power struggle but the FBI event has already overtaken both sides and I do not this we will have a 'winner' in the family at the end.

Ken probably cares what others think of him because his entire life he was judged by his cruel father who only occasionally threw him a few crumbs of insincere approval. After Tom sees how low Shiv will go for power he will lose all hope of ever having a loving, loyal, wife he can trust. Her letter about Ken will be a turning point in their marriage.

This episode was about as close to perfect as can possibly be. 9.8/9.9…. Only the finale of season one and two were a tiny bit better. I mean, really. Insanely good writing, acting, music…. the drama, the comedy, what can you say??!! The range of emotions within each episode and even within each character each episode… love hate humor sadness pity envy pride shame…. Pretty much for every person ! This show is another level.

Don't get me wrong - I've been on Team Kendall all the way from S2E10. That said, when dude said "I see you", I felt my skin crawl, because I suddenly remembered that Ken killed that dude, and pops knows all about that. Logan still has Ken by the balls. Ken, in a moment of pique - in his desire to be a (repeat) killer, forgot about that. But it hasn't gone away. And so although I love Ken and loathe Logan, I am confident that Logan has all the power right now. Unless Ken has evidence that will absolutely send Logan to prison forever, I think that Ken *can't* win.

Kendall is a girl with daddy issues - now that his actions mean he can’t get his real dad’s approval his biggest motivator is seeking approval from anyone who can give it to him. That’s why he’s so invested in his public image and his posse. Instead of hunkering down with his team and working on a real strategy, he’s most concerned about being seen in a certain light. At the end Shiv completely unmasks him in public and he just can’t face that kind of rejection
