The scene when Ken is walking down the hallway fully aware the extent of which Shiv has ruined him is my favourite in the series, if not, recent TV history. You can see the life drain from his face as he moves further from the colourful lights, into a more pale and monochrome setting. Cinema.

You the hit the nail on the head. The last two seasons I went through the entire spectrum of emotions with most of the characters. Going from disdain, amusement, disgust, to pity and even fury once or twice; only to come back again to disdain. Yeah, it's a stellar show so far.

Tom and Greg are two loose cannons that can fire anywhere, anytime. They are both more intelligent than they seem even though they excel at hiding it. I think that Tom have a very astute plan behind his ridiculous proposal of being the sacrificial lamb.

I won't say tom was hiding his intelligence, rather he's not confident enough and didn't have that push to do what it takes until this season's finale. He also genuinely loves shiv to an extent maybe his betrayal is more personal.

The fact they’ve been bringing up Kendall’s kids more is, to me, stirring up irony. Kendall has had tunnel vision about winning and killing his father, proving himself and teetering the line with his siblings, especially Shiv. And it’s funny how they keep joking that he doesn’t know his kids names, he been in his kids house, his kids room and says yea I love them, uses them as an excuse, yet makes no effort to be there for them. To be better than Logan (and grow a loving relationship with his kids which would really be a win over Logan) and it’s so interesting, it’s real though how some peoples parent infantilize them so hard they can’t even fill their roles in life and be healthy. Logan has stunted them like crazy

To my mind, the best line was the look on the face of Kendall's new press person. In the hallway. When Shiv's letter hit planet Earth. I am a staffer and have been a staffer to a high-profile person. It takes every ounce of energy to not roll your eyes in these situations. She acted it out perfectly. Kudos. Kendall's reflection off of her is part of what makes Kendall's character great. Good ep this week, Mr. Peppers.

Oh, I think that definitely was a test. They set up that Tom had a meeting with his lawyer friend when he invited Greg along. We see that Greg doesn't show up, but we DON'T actually see the meeting. So why not just show us that? Because they got more mileage playing coy with what Tom was doing. The friend *did* tell Tom he would probably go to jail, and most likely that he should protect himself, not the company, the way Greg did. So this was Tom feeling out just how worried he needed to be about whether he's considered "Family" and they would fight for him tooth and nail or if ultimately they would let him take the fall to cover themselves. He got his answer, and immediately called the lawyer.

I loved this video. It was a great recap and got straight to the point. Wasn’t too long and explained things well. 😊🤎🤎. My favourite line was from Kendall “I threw some ugly rocks” and when Greg bought the watch because Kendalls PR aide shrugged??? He’s so out of his depth it’s actually becoming annoying. Why didn’t he just say I’m not biting the watch and give it back?? He acts like he doesn’t know what is going on in ANY situation. Like, get it together. His aloofness was cute to me up until that moment. Why didn’t he just GIVE THE WATCH BACK? Put it in the watch dealers lap and walk away?? What the heck??

At this point it's the writers of this show that are playing chess with which actor will get which Emmy award, and us by having having the actors act circles around each other in rooms and it's incredible to watch. I really enjoy your recaps. I've been watching since your earlier Expanse recaps. I hope I can just throw this tiny unsolicited suggestion but I watched this video on 1.25x speed and it's perfect in terms of speech timing. (If 1.25x sounds fast it's the cuts of spaces between words/sentences. If you record at a slightly quicker pace, but you still cut audio normally, it'll sound natural). Hope I'm not being a douche.

But hear me out...what if It wasn't. She was honest, she didn't lie. He embarrassed her in-front of the media. Yes she was dying to be head of the company, but from now on she'll be remembered as someone who was reciting a speech to the theme song of "rape me". She looked flustered and embarrassed, it was humiliating. Also I don't know if you remember this, but when Charlie Sheen was going off the deep end, people cited him thinking of himself as larger than life, abusing drugs, and mistreating the people in his life as signs of serious mental illness and disassociation with reality. These are all true to Kendall. Yes she had a double motive ( being she wanted to make him look bad), but he also did too. Just a thought. Also do you think that the call Kendall took at the end of the episode was him sicking the FBI on his family or am I looking too much into it?

I'm really confused about Logan. He chooses Gerri to be CEO above everyone else, then he sits in the room with people that he chose Gerri over and says to them, "I hope she doesn't think she's really the boss." He then orders 1 of the people he chose her over to interfere with her decision instead of discussing it with her directly which will allow everyone to undermined her. Then he went and threatened the president. If I'm the president I'm thinking not only are you involved in the biggest scandal of the century but you have dirt on me. Maybe I should sink you in the deepest hole so that even if you try to out me your words will fall on deaf ears.

I think, at this point, one of the main questions should be "Who's going to switch sides?". Right now, it isn't about becoming CEO as it was in the last two seasons. In fact, right now, being the CEO is the only position nobody would want. Both Shiv and Rom seemed close to switching sides on episode 2, or at least had doubts. In this whole charade, for Shiv and Roy, the moral compass seems to be overshadowed by the need for their father's approval. They want to show loyalty so they can get closer to being named the successor while knowing that it is a sinking ship. Siding with Ken would mean that they'd stab their father in the back and give Ken the chance to run the whole thing. As for side characters, I wouldn't be surprised to see any of them switch sides. Tom could side with Ken, which would give him a chance to be a major figure, something that Logan never considered. He's also done with Shiv's bullshit. Greg could also play a big part in this. If he plays it smart, I wouldn't be surprised to see him at the top by the end of season 3.

Am I the only one wondering what that book was that shiv spit in? And also if there’s possible even more about cruises that we don’t know, Shiv knows everything, I mean she’s married to Tom. But her fear about how bad it might actually is to me was like a red flag, because at the moment she’s closest to Logan and so if she thinks there could be more I don’t doubt it. And I think it would make sense, none wants fbi around but the fact that most paper-trail is gone and Logan was still so apprehensive about having them come up and search was another red flag. What else could there be?
