I hope to god Gunn goes back to the original music. Zimmer's was okay, but that John Williams score is synonymous with Superman, as are the Indiana Jones and Star Wars themes.

Agreed. The JW theme has earned its place alongside the cape and the S on the chest. It’s like it was ALWAYS a part of the mythos, but we just couldn’t hear it yet. I remember a full theater reaction of cheers and applause… not when Superman caught Lois, but when he caught the falling helicopter in timing with the crescendo of the brass section. It was a found memory that would have never existed on a streaming platform.

It's the same movie as the 200 previous movies. Same story, same characters, same plot. Why not make a movie about another view of the kryptonians. Where did they originate from? Why do they destroy planets? Why are they not so super on their world? What in kryptonite makes them weak? Nope, alien baby falls from space, becomes a demigod superhero, falls in love, the end.

As a fan of superman all my life, I've always enjoyed superman movies even though others don't, I was a bit worried gunn took over as I liked guardians of the galaxy but the 2nd and 3rd story lines could have been better. That said, this supes movies looking only from the trailer is giving us lots so thenk you james gunn, and bring back cavill too 😅

I feel like there are somethings they can do to make this movie different than other Superman movies, the action. Most fight scenes in all Superman Movies are over the top he needs a more controlled fighting style. If they can nail the flying and the fight scenes down they may have a chance.

I have to say, he does not look good in that shot. I can forgive the cosplay like superman suit with clearlh visible padding, the yellow outline for the crest that makes it look like it is tacked on etc, but the zoom in straight shot makes his face look so big I wanted to laugh. That being said i probably still will watch it because its superman and he is GOAT

How many of these movies are they going to make anyway the problem with these movies is they keep changing characters so it fucks up the storyline they need to just stick to one character and continue off from that like the first 3 spider man movies with the green goblin where good so okay he went on to make other movies I get it but at least he did 3 so you followed him as spider man trilogy now they switch characters every like one or 2 movies and then co e out with another one emperor zod was good they need to plan these movies better don't assume that your leading man or women will be around in the same position they where in when you finally feel like making anither movie like oh it's been 4 years let's me call up the guy who last played superman or spider man and see if he's up for it you got to do it ask them before you make a series people get into a follow if he can be around for the next 4 movies if you plan on making them it's not that the new movies are not good but it's like of your tried to change Benedict Cumberland or whatever his name is as Dr strange he is in the minds of the people dr strange like iron man Robert Downey Jr is iron man in all the movies he got killed off but iron man 4 they like cloned him or something and then the new averages movie they have him come back as not a clone but himself from another universe where he is alive but he is now dr doom from the fantastic 4 and so they knew they can't ake an averages movie without him I saw the trailers for 2025 2026 movies
