The Lost Lands is another "action movie" filmed 100% in front of a green screen. Dave Bautista had so much promise. Now he's doing C level shit like this.

Agreed... unfortunately, just from the preview, it is clear that it looks cheap and badly done. 300 was a green screen movie, and it was pretty good for its time, but when you watch it now, it's not as visually special. Just like the original Jurassic Park film. When I watched that for the first time when it was released, it looked so real and amazing.... not so much if you watch it today. What happened to the days of directors and cinematographers creating new technology and methods to make their visions come to life ? It seems like nearly all the new movies are either just remakes of other successful films or they copy the plots of other films to make a new one.

The book series droned on and became dull. Obvious the author was using filler text to bulk up the books. Ultimately I stopped reading after the 4th book. It just wasn't worth it. Looks like this movie will follow as a slow moving film.

I am not impressed ... Same old same .. Only the chinese movie : Creation of the Gods seems to offer some freshness with the change of scenery + the giants warriors and the quality of fight that martial arts usually provide and the fact that you don't at once recognise the actors...

They started all these during the last 4 years of all that intersectionality and so on. So it’ll take time for the abject failure of such to effect the change needed. But it will get better because investors can’t sustain heavy losses like Disney and Marvel have experienced these last three years.
