I love this show. I am seeing this in May 2019. They are still a number 1 hit. Their very last airing is coming up on Thursday May 16th 2019. While they are still # 1, Jim (Sheldon) has since gotten married and has another show out he is working with called Little Sheldon. He narrates his younger self. But has decided to call it quits on the Big Bang to probably have more time for their opportunities and enjoy his marriage. I am going to miss this show so much as I just love all the characters and love the show itself. I have even named two if my cats "Sheldon and Amy". I already have several of the seasons and cannot wait to own them all as they are released. Hats off to the writers and producers of the show. Job well done. Thank You for all these wonderful years together!

I'm actually surprised at how they treated the younger kids. For their age it takes some guts to stand up in an audience and ask a question to, what some may see as, their idols. Also surprised that they didn't understand what the kid meant when he was talking about the 'virtual presence'.

they dont watch the show and they arent their characters. once theyve filmed an episode they dont think about it. why do audiences always have such a hard time understanding that for them it is just a job. it would be like if you worked in a shop stacking shelves and someone came in and asked "do you remember 10 years ago when you stacked chocolate bars?". the question was also so poorly worded and most of them where just getting tired of questions that they really couldnt answer

Don't get me wrong, I love Kaley, but barely any questions were asked for Melissa and even less for Mayim. It would be interesting to know how they felt in joining halfway through the series and Mayim has a PhD and Melissa did stand up comedy. I'm just surprised that no one asked them anything

I was one of the awkward kids of the panel, hopefully I can give you guys some inside information about this panel's Q and A faliure. Im almost 18 now so I promise im coherent now, but at the time I will say they actually put a lot of pressure on us to act a certain way and made everyone nervous and fumble, the people organizing the q and a stupidly aslo TOLD the audience children in line first so they can get a chance. They focused too much on us I believe and made it very daunting and surreal. I literally throw my phone now watching myself, cringing at my 4th grade shy self trying to get my question out after messing up and not being able to go back. None of us got to hear the answers to our questions anyways because as soon as it was asked we were rushed off into a place we couldnt hear the speakers. They actually screened most questions but my friend the 'nerd battle' girl went past her (question screener) because the lady wasnt focusing on her, she was rushing me out. Mine was screened however, but under the lights and celebrities I fumbled badly and forever am haunted by it. I don't expect anyone to understand but at the time I was being physically abused and the anxiety of it all overwhelmed me and made me freeze up and combine two sentences. After that I couldn't get anything right and I honestly teared up as the audience and panel laughed at us, mine being likely the most awkward of them all. I wont link which kid i am but I'm sure you can figure it out if you try, I look a lot different now anyways.

thats really harsh of them to do. i mean, I don't know a lot about these panels, but I've seen a lot of them lately, and it does look like a few of the actors( wont name them ;) ) were acting rude. they never answered any question head on, nor did they cut the children any slack. and as of the backstage people who were near the q and a people... it did look like they were rushing you guys. i mean I know its their job to be fast and all, but really??? they were not giving the people enough time to pose the question. Overall, the writers, and only a handful of the actors were being kind and you know (smart) about how they were the entire event............ sigh.

I feel strongly about what you have written here. No one watching now or then had any negative impressions regarding any of those children questioning. Each one was exactly what children are supposed to be, cute, awkward, charming, not yet possessing adult skills/information/discretion, sincere, and full of wonderment and curiosity. That's exactly how we all enjoyed hearing from all those kids, they were cute and refreshing (yes, to oldsters, 12 is cute.). Those millionaire actors should have appreciated them the way the audience did, and does. All of them have children. I'm sure their children are charming and awkward and immature and adorable too. Please do not mistake the panels' reaction to be that of anyone watching on KZbin or at the convention at the time. I could tell the panel didn't like having children ask questions. They clearly didn't want to think of themselves as a child's show. Instead of taking the time to understand the questions the children were asking, they decided the questions were not good ones. In this regard, they need to get over themselves.

it is for at least two more seasons (season 6+7). What comes after that, no one knows yet. Actors often sign for up to seven seasons and are then open to renegotiate their contract.

I absolutely love this show, I adore the cast and their panel at the 2011 Comic Con was hilarous, but this year I find them to be quite rude. I understand that it gets tedious to be asked the same questions every year, but a lot of these attendents are there for the first time and might not have a huge grasp on what has been asked previously. These were young children stomaching the courage to ask a question in front of tons of people. Give them some cred and don't scar them for life haha!
