I mean, that's just cope. If the movie is bad and you weren't intending to watch it anyway, then sure, but if the movie/show is good you are depriving yourself of good experience. Learning the plot and seeing a few scenes with no dialogue/music/important scenes and continuity doesn't in any way substitute for the full experience and immersion. Maybe it's ok to treat these like trailers to see if you're interested in the concept, but to pretend that by spoiling the movie through these short videos you somehow "watched" the movie, is just silly. Might as well "save" even more time and read a synopsis of a movie in few minutes on wikipedia or something, right?

This storyline is crazy. It’s basically 7 Days TV show the movie. Only thanks to this stupid idea where agents aren’t supposed to use the time loop to benefit themselves, which results in agents intentionally trying to end the world.😅 Like who didn’t see that coming, I mean you’re already trying to change the future for humanities personal gain. The plot of the Lazarus Effect sounds absolutely ridiculous, so this recap has put me off. Having said that, if this channel did a recap of the series "Counterpart" it would probably also sound stupid, yet "Counterpart" is a fantastic sci-fi thriller. I recommend it if you haven't seen it already.

The most confusing mess of ideas and plots to exist in cinema. Nothing makes sense and it doesn't follow any pattern that is coherent. Everything happens in random patterns with time loops that don't mesh or stick to a standard reset. One loop the guy isn't married, the next loop he doesn't even know the girl, the next loop they are having sex, the next loop he cant find her at a party.. Make it make sense.. This just doesn't work.

You could alter the future from the past, but that would not change anything prior to the reset. Example, winning the lottery in one reset would require you to win it again the next. You could learn the numbers, pick the right horses (as the one guy did), save the wife from being hit by a truck (as he did), etc. but you would ultimately end up back at the beginning of the reset each time. No time ripple would go backwards changing the past because the events have not happened. This show is acting more like quantum spectrum where each reset takes you to an alternate timeline instead of actually resetting the timeline but they are adding in the cause and effect of actions into a time loop that isn't possible. Hence why it doesn't make sense.
