This would be a terrifying situation to be in. But I can't help wondering something: I understand that the husband put her in a home but did he never call or check up on her at all in the four years? Regardless of what she'd put him through, he obviously cared enough to move her from the asylum to a nursing home so you'd think he'd have checked up on her at some point, on the phone to the doctors/etc. if not in person. Also, assuming it's a paid home, wouldn't he have realized that his payments were bouncing back/cancelled? And the letter he left with the friend: it was a hint that her real husband wasn't in the picture at all but she didn't pick up on that. It's also strange that the friend didn't find it odd the way she spoke about him as if they were still together, although I guess since she kept her distance after the affair, maybe she didn't know. Furthermore, her entire relationship with the neuroscientist was unethical, even before he kissed her. He had to have known that.
@cakdwik20503 жыл бұрын
Why tf her friend didnt tell her that her son still alive when they meet
@VampireMadonna3 жыл бұрын
@@cakdwik2050 That too. The "he was" a good father and "she was" a good mother didn't make any sense. For her, yes, since she isn't in their lives anymore presumably (although, again, the friend didn't seem to know that) but speaking in the past tense for the husband/father is odd. Unless we consider that she also hasn't seen the husband in 4yrs but the friend could've asked HER if she's spent time with her son at all. Also, if she isn't in the nursing home anymore, didn't the friend wonder where she's been all this time? Who in their right mind would let a woman with memory problems live on her own? Because if the friend assumed that she was still with the husband, then why would she be asking questions that he could answer? And if she wasn't living with him, then who was she with? Both the ex and the friend aren't very concerned it seems.
@mroctober35833 жыл бұрын

man's wife was cheating on him and got herself beaten into brain damage by her lover, why would he keep her in his life the fact he checked her into a nursing home proves he's a better human than me and most people she's an awful person, she even wanted to f her doctor that she knew for a day (in her perspective) while knowing she's married she's a person you'd never want in your life even before her brain damage
@VampireMadonna3 жыл бұрын
@@anon-iraq2655 But that's exactly my point. He *cared* enough to put her in a nursing home, so I don't buy that he wouldn't check in with her doctors to see how she was doing, even if he didn't go see her himself. Also, like I said, long-care homes usually aren't free, unless they're state-run, so if he was paying for her care, he would have had to notice at some point when his payments stopped going through/being taken out of his account. It has nothing to do with how he felt towards her, it's simply technicalities that the writers obviously didn't think anyone would care to notice.

While the record is 11 days without sleep, after about 4 days hallucinations will begin, at this point you would likely be very irritable, your judgement will be impaired not to mention you will be very drowsy. This concept reminds me of Memento

But unlike memento, this can happened to someone who suffers short term memory. My mom can't remember much except few thing everyday. If we talked to her, she can remember it until she sleep and then she not remember anything except few. She still can remember everything when she's still young. At first i thought she's has dementia, but doctor said it's short term memory
