After hearing the coffin talk I couldn't resist mentioning this... When I was 21 I worked at a liquor store and I sold a customer a pint of Paul Masson, the man who purchased it walked out the door and come back in no longer than 2 minutes later saying I sold him an exploding bottle of Paul Masson. I told him I didn't, he asked if we'd replace it, my manager denied it due to his tone, and the customer looked at me in the eyes and told me "I'm going to put you in your coffin!" before being pulled outside by his buddy. I'm not a Dracula, but he made me consider my possible Dracula connections, then I remembered the man couldn't handle a bottle from the store to his home. Hope you enjoyed this story, I enjoyed remembering it lol

I had a busy life when I was a kid, and all i really wanted was some quiet "me time" to draw and relax, so when the world got too nuts I'd say something nasty in class or flip off a teacher just to get 2 quiet hours to myself in detention. Props to my guidance counselor for catching on after the 3rd time and scheduling "detention" for me when I needed it lol.

Hi! Long time listener who has never seen the point of commenting on videos but I've been locked in a government quarantine hotel for the last 14 days and I just wanna say thank you for keeping me sain! I watched every episode of caravan of garbage and man did It make the Time fly by! Just be glad that you are quarantined at home where you get an hour of outside time a day and can cook/ order meals instead of a hotel where you get you get yelled at if you step outside the room and have to eat cold cafeteria food that all tastes kinda like the way fish food smells . No it doesn't taste like fish I love fish, it tastes like fish food. Horrible. Anyway hope you make it through this Apocalypse and please keep talking about your personal lives I think it's interesting that I've been listening to this podcast for like 6 years and I still know nothing about you two other than the few bits that you talk about from time to time.

My memory is a little fuzzy, but didn't Shooter create Titania in the original Secret Wars, and that character is being used in the She-Hulk series? So it could potentially have nothing to do with the larger Secret Wars story depending on when that call occurred. Could have been months ago and they were just trying to cover their arses.

My only detention story after being triggered by this podcast. Went on a school trip in the late 80s and were told to meet the coach back home at a certain time and place. We merrily went off on our own. Clearly the majority of the other kids hung out with the teachers for the rest of the day and at some point the meet up venue was changed. At the pre arranged time we went to the original spot - along with two other separate groups - who also had not somehow psychically received the message. About 90 minutes later we were finally picked up and yelled at by the teachers. Detention the following day, where we all had to begrudgingly write bullshit apologies to the teachers, when we all knew we were in the right! This was all pre mobile phones. I'm 44 now and still fume about this whole fiasco occasionally. I blame everyone else, especially those kids who sucked up to the teachers all day when we'd all been given permission to run free. Myself and my fellow detentionees were all Innocent and I am prepared to die on that hill!

I do think they slightly misjudged the Star Lord thing. It's not the same as how Han Solo got the name Solo, because it's how two completely different characters ended up with the same name when we know one of those characters got the name from his mother - that's an interesting detail that's worth explaining and you can reasonably expect people would ask about it if you don't explain it. The Solo thing is not interesting and nobody was asking. Having said that, my immediate assumption was that Star Lord is how Ego refers to either himself or his children, and that both Peter's mother and Yondu got the name from Ego (Peter's mother using it sincerely, Yondu using it mockingly). I don't know why people are acting like this is an unsolvable plot hole with the show, it takes literally a few seconds' thought to arrive at an entirely logical and reasonable solution (and one of the showrunners has apparently since confirmed this is actually the case). I still think they could have easily anticipated and resolved this by having Yondu mention the name in relation to Ego when he's berating his guys for grabbing the wrong person, but at the same time people need to take a breath and calm down.

I haven't seen The Lighthouse but I *assume* that's a "bottle" movie. From what I gather a lot of times "bottle movies" are basically like stage plays, or actual plays adapted for the cinema. Obviously plenty of plays and stage productions have a lot of sets and locations, but there are a TON of small plays that rely on minimal set pieces and the acting/dialogue is the absolute focal point. I think Tarantino threw a hissy fit when the Hateful Eight script leaked and he swore he'd just do it as a stage show and never make the movie. But that's my point, you just have on main set as characters enter and leave the stage throughout.
