@@alzea1563isn’t that title only given to hunters who take down a queen solo though? She had help from Scar in the confrontation. No doubt she would be seen as a high level hunter, but I thought to get way up there in rank, solo was a key aspect of the required hunt.

He was the one where the Alien spider jumped on him den he woke up with it dead by it's side. He obviously got peegnated by it.

@@BBoySolidusSnake yeah but the problem with that is usually a Yautja would self delete if he got impregnated. Yautja's also has a scanner that can detect the alien fetus (scar literally used it himself in this movie) so it was nigh impossible for that entire Yautja clan to not notice the embyro at the end of the movie.

nah the alien is Prey because it is always being searched for by humans (really just Weyland Corp) in the Alien movies

@@rosegold7975 “Being searched for” doesn’t make something “prey”. People also search for Bigfoot, ghosts, murderers, Moby Dick, sharks, demons, etc. and doesn’t make any of those things “prey”. Do people really not know what the word “prey” means?! Prey are targeted by predators as perceived weaklings who (can’t, won’t, or ineffectively) fight back.

@@TalentCaldwell There are several definitions of prey one of which is used in the bible as being a prize or spoil. The Weyland Cop sought out the alien as a prize in the company's founders eyes as he sought out ever lasting life. And since I know you'll say something about it because you clearly don't know much, there are tons of biblical references in the Alien series, especially in Prometheus and Alien: Covenant. So using the biblical version of prey makes sense. Please watch the series and catch up on your linquistics

@@rosegold7975 I’ve seen the movies dude. And the Xenos are NEVER viewed as or called prey in any of the films. Nor are they seen as a means for everlasting life. In PROMETHEUS Weyland sought out the engineers. In ROMULUS it was the black goo sought out as a “prize”. The Xenos themselves have always been a consequence of their curiosity. Also A) biblical references are not being made in this AVP recap video and B) this video is the only thing calling them “prey”. And still, going by your “prize” association, just because people hunt lions, bears, and sharks for sport doesn’t make them “prey” for humans. This video should have called them the “perfect organism” if going by the movies.
