I have forgotten most of the Tibetan. I learned way back then it sounds like the prayers he is reciting Tibetan at the very beginning is the refuge prayer and then the Bodhisatva vow. This is a common way to start a practice Tibetan Buddhism, taking refuge in the three jewels and the three roots, and then arousing the Bohdisatva mind ,that is Bodhicitta. Then, of course, he starts reciting all of the mantras. If you have learned some Tibetan Buddhism, you can Recognize quite a few.

To hear Rinpoche's voice once again is so extraordinary. I had received Dharma from Kalu Rinpoche when he first came to San Francisco establishing KDK 1974. He has been my Root Lama ever since. I hope one day to sit with his current incarnation. Namaste.

At one point, I was thinking about there not being any animals in the room I’m in at the moment. I thought/would think that there might be insects/microscopic creatures (there probably would be some of them) in here. Then, a moth came in! May all the moths, bugs, microscopic creatures, cats, people, birds, any rodents/other animals on my property all become enlightened, or otherwise reach paradise and ultimate happiness, health, well-being and also safety. May all sentient beings everywhere become enlightened, or otherwise reach paradise and ultimate happiness, health, well-being and also safety.

I dont get it. I have listened to the mantras yet am not liberated. Are we being misled? Are we deluding ourselves? I can play this video to a heard of cows in a field or to my family and friends and yet still they will remain as they were, trapped and tortured by samsara.

Momentary liberation happens very swift, beyond normal cognitive capacity, even not well. Still, the seeds have been sowed. Just like the soil that appears to be barren, yet grows plants when spring comes miraculously.
