This year I've given in and allowed myself to sit and do nothing without guilt,

Funny isn’t it, years of ‘not good enough’ practice then when there is finally practice that’s ‘not good enough’ either 😂😊❤

This turns up at a time today of great awareness for me of the loss of a loved one and the pain of attachment. I can do nothing but sit.

This hit home. People often ask me to explain these things. I hesitate because there is so much to say, and I feel I don't understand it enough to try and teach them about it. Yet I see them struggling with life and think that it may help them. I seem to always be caught between.

Sometimes I think about the collective wisdom in this channel's archives ~ like a concentrated light source. I'm old & trying to recall how folks in scary parts of human history have kept their eyes on Truth, Peace & the reality of impermanence. Blessings to everyone. 🌎🍃🦋🔭🌙🙏☸️📿💙

Samaneri Jayasara thank you for all the effort you put into finding true and practical teachings from many traditions. I’m not sure if you take requests but if I may suggest one piece: Ajaan Dune Atulo’s (1888-1983) “The Heart is Knowing” - I get a sense that the section which is titled THE METHOD OF DEVELOPING BAVANA would fit well in the style of format you make your videos in. It’s straight to the heart of the teachings, and short enough where you could keep your trademark slow paced style filled with gaps of meditative music (which I absolutely love lol). Again, thank you for all that you do and no worries if this is a suggestion you pass up 🙏🏼
