Yeah the Spider-Man copied a bunch of moves and plot points from the Andrew Garfield movies. There is the one where you webzip over a building while running on the walls (straight up copied from the opening scene of TASM 2), then you can webzip across pipes and under water tanks (copied from the finale of this movie, where Peter launches from inside a tower). However, this could be a great (but minor) mechanic in some scenario which they haven't implemented. Assuming the enemies on the edge are alerted to your presence while you are web crawling on a wall, using that same move, you can at least instant takedown one of them. Currently, in the game, you can do stealth takedown only which does not work if the enemies know where you are. Also there's been a glitch which happened a couple of times where a bunch of enemies on a ledge of a wall shot me through the wall on which I was webcrawling quite near them. (playing on PC)

Unpopular opinion but I think Andrews movie's were awesome! Yes they had their flaws but overall their really great! Also Andrew way of fighting is so iconic! He fights and moves like an actual spider. It's one of the traits that make his Spider-Man special. I'm glad people are coming back to his previous movies and giving them the praise they deserve! I feel like I see people saying it’s poorly written just cuz other people say it’s poorly written, but never really give a good reason. Sure it has a different take on the origin story, but the characters are developed well and their motivations make sense, the villain is set up well (I particularly like the scene where Peter goes to Oscorp to ask how one would track a reptile), the stakes feel real (not manufactured), the love story is very well done, the setup of situations makes sense and has a logical flow, and there is a great balance of action and plot. To say it’s not the best the story it conceivably could have been is one thing, but to say it is poorly written is just not true at all. Not to mention all the amazing things that make up for any plot issues such as the amazing action and CGI, and Andrew Garfield’s fantastic acting. I’m not even truly speaking from nostalgia here bc I grew up with the Raimi trilogy, but I still think this is the superior live action Spider-man adaptation. And this has nothing to do with TASM 2, which I agree had issues, but I still really enjoyed that film as well.

The Amazing Spider-Man 1 and 2 are both great movies with awesome VFX, brilliant actors, mind-blowing web swinging and cool looking suit in both movies. Andrew Garfield has so much potential to be a Spider Man, he is tall, he is slim and he is funny, too bad he didn't got a good storyline for the second movie :(

I love how Spidey uses his webs like a spider feeling the vibrations but I really love how the lizard knew what he was doing and controlled other lizards to get the jump on him, he turned his own webs against him and it made the lizard so scary. That and his crazy fast healing factor and that he physically outmatched Peter and almost intellectually as well. The only thing about this lizard I don’t like is the design. All the way to his face and that fact he ain’t got the purple pants and lab coat.

I remember when I watched this movie multiple times before and I never got tired of seeing this incredible battle sequence, the lizard was a great villain.
