Glad I found this channel. I am too is an anxious person, the reason I wasn't able to pursue working abroad as a nurse. Now, I am 38 and I want to conquer that fear. Thanks to this channel 😘

I’m going abroad soon to the UK and feeling very anxious about this transition. I’ve never done anything like this before. Your video brought me a lot of comfort and reassurance, thank you 💗

While I am not moving abroad I am planning to study abroad during the summer. It will only be a 6 week ordeal and I’ve been super excited and pumped but suddenly when I received my acceptance into the program I freaked out. I suddenly felt too scared and was seriously thinking about just not going through with it. Anxiety is so hard because it feels like a war with yourself where on one side you want to step out of your comfort zone and do cool things but at the same time your brain and body tries to keep you safe by making you scared and anxious. Thank you for posting about your experience!

This video has helped me I'm eventually moving to Spain permanently to be closer to my boyfriend and I've never been overseas before, so I had so much anxiety. 😅

When you say that you are an educational science student, what exactly do you mean by that? Do you have any particular field of interest?
@ALifeofLearning2 жыл бұрын
Educational sciences is the field that conducts research into how people learn. My personal field of interest is in educational measurement and educational data science, so basically how we can use data to evaluate and inform learning ☺️

Seems a promising field, particularly for commonwealth countries where learning is a time consuming process as we first need to learn english language without guidance of proper mentors.

Have you tried, Justin Sung's ICAN study course? What do you think about it? Is it worth it?
@ALifeofLearning2 жыл бұрын
I have not tried his course but I am a big fan of his KZbin videos. As an educational sciences student I can vouch that he is definitely up to date with science-backed learning techniques and able to translate this to actionable learning tips that he explains well. However, I am not sure in what way his course provides value for money beyond what his videos on KZbin offer. I would say his videos will already get you a long way to improving your study tactics, but IF you were planning on spending some money to seriously work on your study techniques I would trust that his course has a lot of valuable information to offer. Whether that will be worth the costs is then up to you I guess 🥰
