Thanks for having the confidence to share your story. The term “spicy brain” made me smile having never heard that before. After living in Spain for a 2 study abroad’s, I still fondly remember my favorite late night sandwich place. They had bocadillos with tortilla española and sautéed peppers and onions on it. Noms. I still recreate them at home years later. Travel and new places change us into who we are, can’t wait to enjoy the rest of your journey.

Your raw authenticity and good nature has been a real stand-out element of your content and has been something that always keeps me coming back to hear how things are progressing... I also moved to a foreign country with very little planning and I don't recommend in retrospect but 7 years later and I'm still here and loving it more and more with every passing year. I think what a lot of expats don't anticipate is how long it really takes to adjust to the new life and how many compromises you will have to make (sometimes permanently) to make the mission a success. Looking forward to see the progression! Keep smashin out the good stuff 💯💯💯

Thank you for sharing, it was just what I needed to hear now. I didn’t listen to your story from a preparation perspective but more for bonding through this experience. I recently lived in India for some months with my local partner and I had to face similar ups and downs. Freedom, love, excitement and curiosity, financial instability, lostness, the struggle to „find the way in“…. It feels very comforting to hear your similar ways of your life and reminds me that we all share this human experience that connects us beyond what we may think. Anyway, today I got back and find myself alone and lost again in new ways, so a new cycle is starting. Keep sharing your story, someone needs to hear it! Today it was me :)

I can totally relate to being dependant on my partner for friends and socialising. Making friends in your later years is more difficult than people admit, especially if you’re naturally introverted like myself. Really enjoyed the video (algorithm getting it right 👌🏼).

I moved England to Scotland, also winging it🤣 it’s honestly been so hard trying to make friends, to find things to do, a stable job. I can’t imagine moving somewhere plus the language barriers etc. My brain is still, 4 yrs later adjusting to my move😅. Really lovely hearing your journey and experience. You are moving at your pace and exploring within yourself and that’s really beautiful. You got this & look forward to cheering you on your next steps 🪐!!
