Yeah backpacks I'm slowly getting but have yet to unlock the jetpack yet so that is something to look forward too!

Those microchips unlock blueprints that you cannot unlock otherwise (through heat, pressure, etc.) But that's how you get cool stuff like your jetpack.

O okay cool! I thought that they just unlocked random things off of the list so that is good to know!

No, you get access to the JetPack at 175KTi when you reach 'Blue Sky' and the Advanced Crafting Table. T2 and T3 versions are Blueprint Chip versions, though. 150 - 170 and finally 190% speed modifier. It gets Zippy!

Every time I see someone dillydallying and worrying about the Feng Shui of their base WHILE THEY'RE in LOW POWER I want to scream! While in Low Power, everything STOPS. And that means NO Ti, no food growing(if/when you get to that stage... Study the unlock screen to see what you need to reach that goal) The only screen you really need in the beginning is the Unlock Screen. Meteorite showers. What they drop will eventually despawn if you don't pick it up. It WILL despawn if you exit the game. So grab it while it's there. Meteorite showers with a GREEN tinge to them drops SuperAlloy which you'll need a lot of later, but it despawns within 30 seconds from hitting the ground. And being outside during this event is dangerous. There's a STEAM Achievement 'Not the Face' for getting hit. And it can sap your health enough to kill you. When you find a Blueprint Chip, just put up an Unlock Screen in the shelter outside the wreck. No need to carry it back to base, and there's a lot of other stuff you could be carrying.

Yeah i could have set the power back up a little faster when i was moving base but it was only like 5min with out it. Didn't know about the meteors de-spawning times so that is good to know! Thanks Going to have to get that achievement sometime. Good idea about the blueprint chips! ill do that for sure.

@@zachsletsplays I'm a little bit hung up on keeping machinery going because I prefer to play on HC mode. And up until you have a steady food supply and water supply, and half a locker full of Beans, it can get tense... I'm old-school gamer(started with a Sinclair ZX Spectrum 48K in 84, Timex Sinclair something in the USA) and I learned to take note. The first time I played TPC, I took a good look around inside the pod, found the chest and what was in it, then the Crafting machine. I read the description of everything I could make, and what I needed for it. I made the constructor Chip first because it seemed to be the most important and also unlocked he construction menu. That gave me access to a list of machines and stuff I could build. Again, taking notes. I later(after a few horrible videos. Do not look at my first HC run... It's horrible. everything I had planned just... disappeared from my head... ) anyway, I did some maths... The numbers are availablee after all. A major goal is to bee self-sufficient on food, right. That requires Food Growers. They unlock based on Oxygen level. A single Vegetube T1 with a Lirma seed will use over 22Hours to unlock the Food Grower T1. yes, really. It's clear that even a 300 or 400% seed won' cut it, either. Even multiple Vegetubes will struggle, unless you find a lot of food. So you need Vegetube T2(it's 8X more effective, and a single one can unlock Food Growers in between 2 and 3 hours, with just a Lirma seed. ) But it requires heat to unlock. A single Heater T1 will unlock the Vegetube T2 in about 40 minutes... 2 or 3 heaters and you're cooking! Also, the first unlocks in Pressure and general Ti is better a better backpack and larger O2 tank. So setting up a pair or more Drills and a couple windmills, before even starting on your base just makes so much sense. My hope is to soon be able to run a HC mode game in the Crater. I almost succeeeded once, but fell off a cliff and ran out of health just before my first food items were ready forr harvest... That sucked... Do NOT try the crater on standard mode until you know the general layout, much less on Intense or HC.

@@norwegiangadgetman Being honest with you I mostly just wing it when I'm playing haha, I hardly ever do the math to that degree. I don't know if you will be able to handle my content when im doing that haha. Because I make a lot of mistakes.

@@zachsletsplays You're not the worst player out there. And if you learn anything from ine or anyone else's comments, you're a good deal better than most. And if you once in a while, when starting a new survival /exploration/building game, you think 'maybe I should take a look at my options before throwing myself into it,' I'd count that as a win.

@@norwegiangadgetman Sounds good haha. I do try and keep in mind as much as i can for the stuff that people tell me but sometimes it slips by, so if I miss something feel free to remind me once in a while!
