Chris if you notice how the mirror extension arm is 90 degrees out from the cab door on the white Mack , you need to adjust the extension arms on both your trucks the same way ,a lot better visibility around trl sides and no blind spots
@DuffyAg2 ай бұрын
I have adjusted them out and the walk in. The white mack walks in alot too
@sodbuster518able2 ай бұрын
@@DuffyAg usually you can tighten up the pivot bolts to keep them in adjustment,even if it means replacing rusted bolts that might break.I have driven my share of Mack R model, CH model IH,Ford L 9000 and non of them would change mirror adjustment from slamming the door closed, pretty much set em up correctly and tighten them up,it should have to take a lot force to even make arm move, not talking mirror swivel talking extension arm pivot out, good luck I am an expert at West Coast mirror's and adjustment for maximum view visibility.The Pete 579 has some of the best mirrors in the industry of today's trucks

Chris, Can you please put up a chart with all your friends names, faces and who and what they are to you? You always name drop but we don't know who these guys are... I love your videos and it's great knowing I'm not the only one living a real life "Murphy's Law"!!

I wonder how sweet corn would sell as a crop up your way ? There"s a special picker used for them though.
@Otherrandomguy422 ай бұрын
More money in direct to consumer meats and way less hassle to produce than any veggies. We do sweet corn and keeping the insects out of it so customers aren't getting wormy corn is a nightmare. Plus to guarantee it you need to sell it already husked and husking 50-100 dozen cobs if corn to get to market on a Saturday is a pain n the ass.

A while back, you had mentioned a gravel pit or something on your property. Just curious why you didn't use any of it for driveway fill or build your driveway around that old barn foundation while you had the mini. Is that your plan going forward.
@DuffyAg2 ай бұрын
It's on the property line. Shale pit but it's on the other side to much so I need to work something out to use it

Do they sell bigbags or boxes fertiliser. If they do its wise to get some stock
@Otherrandomguy422 ай бұрын
Why fertilizer will be cheap next spring low grain prices for consecutive years inputs are about to go down in price if the supply companies want to sell anything. Equipment sales are already tanking inputs like fertilizer are the next thing growers quit buying.

@@Otherrandomguy42you must be getting different info than I’m getting. Fertilizer is going to go up along with the price of seed corn

Put the 2755 on the tedder and send it to Aron for the baling he does for you , then you don't have to swap tractors around??? Barting is usually not one sided but I guess you are involved with some great people. Hopefully you pay it forward in 20 years when some other kid is trying to start farming around you.
@DuffyAg2 ай бұрын
Dan owns the tedder and has no interest in running a smaller tractor especially at his age. One sided seems odd if you haven't noticed I will jump when ever they need a driver or help or to borrow anything. Great people around me and they want to see me succeed. And yes hard working people always pass on help in life to the next generation

What have you done you holier-than-thou hypocrite?!
@Otherrandomguy422 ай бұрын
@@George-dy3ptwell dude as far as what I did when we were trying to start out farming my brother and I after we bought our father after he charged way more than the farm was worth and we lacked for stuff to work with if we borrowed something from a neighbor we went back and even the score, I'd take our tractor Manure spreader and go down and spread manure for him all day then go home and spread manure for us all night. There was times he literally used to kick me out of his yard because he did not want me there helping and then working at home all night. I mean this equipment he's using here belongs to Aaron's father Dan. And Dan can decide whatever he wants but I don't take no for an answer I'd take my tractor and go Ted his hay. He wouldn't get a choice that's who I am. 🤷🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
